IET Lucknow gives admission on the basis of your rank in UPTU.
I can provide you the cutoff for CSE branch in IET Lucknow for the previous three years from which you can get an idea about how the trend is going.
In 2016, after last round-
Opening and Closing Rank- 1241 to 2701
in 2017, after last round-
Opening and Closing Rank- 209 to 1016
In 2018, after last round-
Opening and Closing Rank- 309 to 728
From this, you can clearly figure out that you can surely get the CSE branch in IET Lucknow even in the first or second round.

Yes, it is the next best option after the IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTI's in terms of placement factor.Average placement is about 3 to 5 lakh but you can get up to 10 LPA based on your ability.The percentage of placement is also quite high. I hope I solved your query.
Is JSS Noida better than IET for CSE?
I would say for the CS or IT branch, JSS Noida is better than IET Lucknow because-It is present in the heart of Noida, so you will get more exposure and a number of companies will visit for placements.If you want a branch-like Mechanical, Electrical or Civil, then go for IET because-Since it is a govt. college, there is no stress on attendance and you can devote your precious time for the preparation of govt. jobs like IES/IAS/GATE For CSE, I would prefer JSS Noida over IET Lucknow.
Sir, my GN is 3900 and GL is 544. Are you positive that I'll get IET CSE?
It is NOT possible through your GN rank but you can SURELY get CSE in IET Lucknow based on your GL rank i.e. 544, most probably after Round 1 or Round 2. Hope you get it.All the best!!!!
