will i need to submit my parents income certificate along with the obc ncl certificate during admission into iit and will my obc certificate be valid if the format is same but the title is for post of jobs,not for admission

Hello aspirant,

Yes they do. They verify each and every document and if any document seems to be invalid they give you a time frame, within which you have to submit that document. Failing of submission would result in losing your seat as well as 45000 rs submitted during counseling process.

they will verify your parents income certificate at the time of seat acceptance as well as at the time of taking admission…they will also verify all of the documents that is mentioned in josaa site…you have to bring the original copies of each of the documents, otherwise they will not entertain your excuses.

And they also verify that your OBC community os named in the central list of OBCs.\
