with a score of 467 in gate EE (ST catregory) , what are the chances of me getting into an iit for m.tech ? should i apply for psu or nitie?
Hii Thakur, the cutoff varies every year based on a number of factors like test takers, vacancies, difficulty of exam etc. However as per past records, the iit chances are,
1) IIT BHU
2) IIT Delhi - Communication engineering, Computer Technology, integrated electronic and circuit, optoelectronic and optical communication,
3) IIT Kanpur - RF, PT
4) IIT Madras - few courses
5) IIT Kharagpur
The psu chances are,
1) AAI
2) BSNL
3) BEML
4) BHEL
You can either join M.Tech or join PSU, but joining psu would be better because it is tough to get into these PSU and once inside it, it will be a good career path. But if you still have the zeal to learn, then dont leave it go waste, you have chances into top IITS.
