Yes, candidates must have passed  there class 12th from a recognized board. It doesn' t matter, if you have done PCMC . You can opt for this course, if you have interest in geography, agriculture , environment etc. You only need to clear college specific entrance exam like B.Sc forestry entrance exam.

But You must clear college specific entrance exam like B.Sc forestry entrance exam and meet the eligibility criteria of that examination

For bsc forestry to need to pass class 12th from recognised board. It does not matter you have done pcmc or not. If you have interest in agriculture or relative subject of forestry you can select it.

For this you have to clear B.sc forestry entrance exam.
