Without CAT exam is this possible to apply MBA?
Yes definitely. Except CAT you have couple of exams in your hand - XAT, NMAT, TISSNET, MAT, CAT, GMAT, TISSNET etc. After graduation you should crack one of those & can purse MBA. But without cracking any exam, aslo you can do MBA. Many universities offers direct admission in their MBA program. But yes you can't expect much from these colleges. It's obvious when you're taking any exam, it will not be in the top 50 B-Schools.

There are a lot of colleges offering admission to thier MBA degree from examinations other that CAT.There are national level exams like XAT,IIFT,SNAP etc for admission into colleges other that IIMS.Apart from these there are state level exams conducted by each state for admission into MBA colleges.

Most MBA aspirants would be aware that the CAT score is a compulsory requirement for the IIMs
For MBA In IIMS CAT score is compulsory requirement and CAT score is also accepted by top bschools
20 IIMs only accept scores of CAT. The exam is held by IIMs in last week of November or first week of December.
IF you dont want to appear for CAT EXAM
PGDM B-schools have option to accept any of the OTHER national tests: , XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT.ETC
and also each state wil have their respective state level exam for admission in their respective state colleges
