Assam University, Silchar has great placement records. The university has a placement cell that keeps posting placement drives by various organisations with details on the University website. 50% of the students were placed and 70% received offers for internships with various organisations.    Most of the faculty members are from IIT Guwahati, so it is good to study from them. The students are getting placed as the HOD of our department has good contacts with the companies like BYJU's and other firms. The infrastructure is similar to IIT Guwahati, and all the equipment is new as it is newly opened. If you have good relationship with teachers, they can help you get internships at IITs and abroad.

The process for cancellation of admission of Assam University is to  submit application with your required document in online mode in the official website of Assam University. If you application for cancellation of admission is late than 15 days of the last date of admission then you will not get any fees refund.

Assam University, Silchar is a Central Government University. It was established in the year 1994 and is also approved by AICTE and UGC with NAAC Accreditation Grade 'B'. It is Ranked 93 by NIRF 2021.

In Assam University, the placements are decent for B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 11 Lakhs per annum, average salary offered is Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum and lowest salary offered is Rs. 3 Lakhs per annum to Rs. 4 Lakhs per annum. Dear Aspirant , according to this percentile and considering OBC category your CRL rank would be in range 61380-69000. According to the previous year cutoffs there are high chances of securing seat in ASSAM University , Silchar (CSE , ECE & Agricultural).

Assam University is better tham Dibrugarh University in terms of placement and faculties.The placement percentage of Assam University is greater than Dibrugarh University.It is about 30-40 percentage in Assam University as about placements and also faculties are good there.Infrastructures are good here better than dibrugah University.
