Hello,

Since you are a second-year student of the BA LLB program at BHU and you've successfully cracked the CLAT UG exam, you will need to submit your present college's Transfer Certificate (TC) when you take admission into the new institution through CLAT.

Current Enrolment: Since you are currently enrolled in a law programme at BHU, you are supposed to get the TC of this College to formally finish your enrollment there.

12th TC: It is submitted to BHU by the time you reach BHU. Now, you would start preparing about your exit from BHU.

Get in touch with the administration at BHU in case you wish to acquire a TC, and check with the admission guidelines of your new college if there is any other documentation needed.

Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (IMS BHU) formerly known as Faculty of Management Studies BHU offers MBA and MBA in International Business programmes. Admissions to these programmes are made on the basis of combined merit of candidates in the CAT , academic records, and Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

FMS BHU does not specifically mention the percentile required to get an Interview call as the cutoffs may vary every year depending upon a number of factors for candidates from different categories.

Admissions are strictly based on merit. The institute also has a provision of the admission under Paid Seat Scheme . Admission under this scheme will be made from the same merit list after concluding the regular seat admissions from the remaining candidates in the merit list. Candidates are required to appear for the CAT and must appear in GDPI process.

Therefore, as you have obtained 75.51 percentile in the CAT and you belong to the OBC category, then you might get an Interview call but it will depend upon a number of factors.

Hy,

With a score of 260 out of 1050 in the CUET (Common University Entrance Test), your chances of securing admission in BA programs at prominent universities like Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Delhi University (DU) may vary. Here's a breakdown of what to consider:

Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

  1. Cutoff Trends :

    • The cutoff marks for BA programs at BHU can vary each year based on the number of applicants and their performance.
    • Generally, for BA programs, cutoffs for general category students are usually higher. The cutoff for different subjects can range from around 300 to 500 marks depending on the specific program and category.
  2. OBC/SC/ST Category :

    • If you belong to OBC/SC/ST categories, there may be some relaxation in the cutoff, but a score of 260 might still be on the lower side for competitive programs.

Delhi University (DU)

  1. Cutoff Trends :

    • Delhi University has a very competitive admission process, and the cutoff for BA programs, especially in reputed colleges, can be quite high.
    • For DU, cutoffs for BA programs in top colleges often range from 350 to 500+ marks for general category students, which means a score of 260 might not meet the eligibility criteria for most colleges.
  2. Special Category Reservations :

    • Similar to BHU, if you belong to OBC or SC/ST categories, you may have a better chance, but you still need to be aware of the cutoffs.

Conclusion

  • Chances of Admission : Given the score of 260 , it may be challenging to secure admission in BA programs at either BHU or DU, especially if you're targeting more popular or competitive colleges.
  • Alternative Options : Consider looking at other universities or colleges that may have lower cutoffs or programs that interest you.

IIT BHU has four different for M. Pharmacy which are Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy so they declared cutoff ranks according to your marks for each category  every year cutoff changes due to various factors. They called 7 times more number students for counseling than the total seat available there.some application also get rejected because of not having gpat score and lack of eligibility so they create chance for other candidates.

So,If You want to be on Safe side you should achieve atleast below 500 rank in GPAT.

Hello,

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers around 270 seats for the Political Science (Honours) undergraduate program in the Faculty of Social Sciences. However, this number can vary slightly each academic year based on university policies and other factors.

For the most accurate and updated information regarding seat availability, it's recommended to check the latest BHU prospectus or visit the official BHU admission portal.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

With 124 marks in CUET and belonging to the ST category, you have a good chance of getting admission to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for a B.Sc. in Mathematics, depending on the cutoff for your category.

Regarding hostel facilities, BHU generally gives priority to students from reserved categories like ST for hostel allotment. However, hostel availability also depends on the number of applicants, the total seats available, and the demand in a particular year.

Since hostel seats are limited, I recommend checking with the BHU administration for specific details or contacting the hostel office directly after securing admission to understand the allotment process.

Hope it helps !

Hy,

A rank of 196 out of 800 in an entrance exam for a BSc program can be quite competitive. However, the specific colleges and courses you might be eligible for at BHU (Banaras Hindu University) or other institutions will depend on several factors:

  1. Cut-Off Ranks : Each college and program has its own cut-off rank, which can vary from year to year based on factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability. Check the previous years' cut-off ranks for BSc programs at BHU to get an idea.

  2. Program and Specialization : The cut-off rank can vary based on the specific BSc program or specialization you are interested in. Some programs may have higher cut-offs than others.

  3. Reservation Categories : If you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there may be different cut-off ranks for these categories.

  4. Admission Trends : Admission trends can also be influenced by changes in the number of applicants and other institutional factors.

To get a better understanding of where you might stand, consider the following steps:

  • Check BHU’s Official Website : Look for information on the cut-off ranks for various BSc programs from previous years. This can give you a general idea of your chances.

  • Contact the Admissions Office : Reach out to the admissions office at BHU for guidance. They can provide specific details about the current cut-off ranks and your eligibility.

  • Explore Other Options : If your rank might not secure admission into your preferred program at BHU, consider applying to other reputable institutions or exploring different programs that might have slightly different cut-off ranks.

By taking these steps, you can get a clearer picture of your chances for admission and explore suitable options accordingly.

Hy,

Yes, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers both merit-based and paid seats for various programs, including the BALLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) program.

Here’s a brief overview:

  1. Merit-Based Seats : These are allocated based on the results of the BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) and other admission criteria. Students are admitted based on their performance in the entrance exam and their academic qualifications.

  2. Paid Seats : BHU also has a provision for paid seats, which are typically available in addition to the merit-based seats. These seats may have higher fees compared to the regular seats. Admission to these seats can still be competitive, and students may need to meet specific criteria or guidelines set by the university.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information about seat allocation, fees, and admission criteria for the BALLB program at BHU, it's best to consult the official BHU website or contact the admissions office directly. They can provide detailed information about the number of paid seats, their cost, and the application process.

Hy,

If your rank is 147 and you belong to the SC category, your chances of getting admission are quite good, but it depends on the course and college you're applying to. Each college and course has different admission criteria and cut-off marks.

For specific information, you should contact the admission office of your desired college or check their official website. They will provide details on cut-off marks and the admission process for the SC category.

Securing admission to BHU with a score of 386 in the general category is highly competitive.

While your score is decent, the cut-offs for BHU, especially in popular courses, are generally high. Factors like the specific course you're targeting, the number of applicants, and reservation quotas can influence your chances.

To improve your chances:

  • Research Course Cutoffs: Check previous year's cut-offs for your desired course at BHU to get an idea of the competition.
  • Explore Other Options: Consider other central universities or state universities that might have lower cut-offs.
  • Prepare for Counseling: If you qualify for counseling, be prepared with your preferences and choices.

Remember: Admission to prestigious institutions like BHU is based on merit, and a high score increases your chances significantly.
