BHU Varanasi is organising the Research Methodology Workshop from December 18 to 20, 2024.
BHU Varanasi is hosting International Conference on Artificial Intelligence from December 16-18, 2024.
The college has all the infrastructure, but it depends on the Faculty or Department you are enrolled with. In commerce faculty we have lecture halls, but we traditional classrooms. Central Library is accessible to all the enrolled students, and has a massive collection of books and journals and articles.
B.Com, like every govt. college in India, other than DU, our curriculum is not according to the industry standards, students have to further pursue MBA or other Master degree in order to be industry ready.
Pathetic placements, the highest CTC offered 4LPA, its better to do MBA after graduation here. or study for govt exams like CGL or PO, etc. The placement process is unorganized and you may get a random call at any day after applying either for telephone interview or walkin' drive miles apart in any metro city in India.
No indian college can have better infrastructure that BHU. Best libarary in India they have seperate department library, orientation centres, computer labs, each department has play grounds and hostels
Could be improve professors were not interested in teaching, but they do have phenomenal knowledge. I guess they are lazy. College should look into it. The syllabus are pretty outdated but it's below average
Poor placement I ever seen. No cordination with students.. too much politics.. no assistance.. no interest.. it was a back up plan for everyone still it was not good. placement was a total diaster I would say
Yes it's a best valuable college as it takes minimal fees as compared to overall experience
It could be more interactive and engaging
Pretty Good
BHU has one of the largest campus in India. It has are the facilities required for a student to study, wifi, library. Food is good and healthy and they have all the required shops if you need anything a student needs.
I was pursuing b.com hons. They have best faculty available. Teachers are phd and research scholars. Course is although not updated but they provide all the knowledge with the current environment. But they don't make you job ready.
My college didn't have placements for my course. This was one of the drawbacks. So if you're are looking for placement don't expect it here. They just teach and take exams although placements are there for other departments.
It has a beautiful campus and has everything a student needs for a campus life. It has best campus life and also has a temple so you can visit. the food is also top notch here and also cheap. The fees is low so everyone can afford.
Big campus with lush greenery. All buildings are very good with well maintaine. Campus has well structured infrastructure and all the facilities with good amenities. Class room are big and also provide central library.
I did my graduation in BA Hons from Banaras Hindu University in 2021 the quality of teachers are very good well good level of knowledge and the curriculum is well structured. Teacher were very helpful and kind
The placement are avarage. The campu has unique management that arranges many campus drives from reputed companies. The average packages is 5lpa and management is very supportive towards the students.
Campus Life is amazing.
Classrooms often have smart boards and WiFi. Libraries offer a range of resources. Sports centers have various amenities. Hostels aim for cleanliness and hygienic food, but specifics vary by institution. Maintenance can vary too.
Teaching quality varies, but online resources are up-to-date. My learning isn't for a job, but I aim to provide accurate and current information to users. Overall learning experience was excellent and professors were very helpful.
In the case of B.Com Hons, placement quality varies. Placement percentages often range from 70-90%. Highest salaries go to finance or consulting roles. Process ease varies, with college support differing.
The classrooms are well maintained. Free wi-fi is available. Digital classrooms are also available. There is a computer laboratory for statistics courses. There is a decent library in the campus. Hostel rooms are average. The food served in the mess is good at reasonable prices.
I am pursuing MBA from this college. The faculties are brilliant in the university. All professors are well educated and experienced. The course is updated and the syllabus is not too vast. Teaching methods are easy and comprehensible and exams are taken on time.
Approximately 5000- 6000 students are placed in our course. Our college provides good placements. There are many job opportunities for this course. Approximately 50 - 70% of students get internships. The average salary offered is approx 6 to 8.5 lacks per annum.
The ROI is great. We don't need to pay much, but we get very good package. I personally feel that I paid very less and got many opportunities here. In my opinion, BHU is the best university in the country for anyone like me who is sceptical enough to pay the hefty fees for pursuing a MBA degree.
The campus life is awesome. 1300 acres of lush green campus with lots of open spaces, awesome for your lungs and mind. The campus is totally different from Varanasi city. You can interact with all sorts of people here including foreign students who enroll in the university.
In short, BHU is the best business school which can offer MBA in cheap with best placement opportunities. BHU has good placement records for fresher students.
Good place to be. It's a great campus and provides a great campus life. The hostel life in sense or enjoyment is great ,but due to old structure of buildings the infrastructure is that good and facilitated
The acedemics I'd good. Being a brand name it give great emphasis on acedemics because that is what will form the base of development of the students. Though the practical base knowledge is not the main focus.
Good and decent it gives a great ROI with very little investment you get to learn more. It provides with a great scope of development. The average package is around 10 to 12 lpa. Which is good seeing the less fees.
Yes
Great
Good
One of the best colleges in terms of infrastructure in India. Very big campus with every facility available. Hostel and mess are available are very economical rates. Hygienic hostels and classrooms. Everything is well maintained.
B.Com is one of the most sought after courses in this college. The faculty is very knowledgeable as known among one of the prestigious University where we have a different types of diversified students.
B.com is considered one of the remarkable degree to add some value in the student's life while placement with BHU adds some value towards it. Not so good but it depends on the individual if he can himself find opportunities from outiside
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is known for its sprawling and impressive campus situated in Varanasi, India. The university's infrastructure includes various academic buildings, libraries, hostels, sports facilities, gardens, and more. The iconic main building, constructed in a mix of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles, is a highlight of the campus.
The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a prestigious institution in India. Its economics department likely offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in economics, covering various aspects of the field such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic theory. The department may also have faculty members engaged in research and publication on a wide range of economic topics.
Placement facilty of Economics department of banarash hindu university is average. They provided the many facility of study in graduation and post graduation, they also give the facility of research but placement of the department economics is not very high
Study cost is very low in the Banaras Hindu University and also they provided the hostel facility in low cost.
Campus life is very good beacause campus provides the all facilities like libraries, hostels, canteen, garden, sport facilities and many more. You will go in the campus then see lush greenery in the campus.
Banaras hindu university is well knowing university of India which is located in the Varanasi.
Good infrastructure with good manageable wifi. Each faculty has ane or more than two hostel so it's good. The library in this university is the largest university in the Asia itself, all type of books are available. Quite good
Teachers are highly qualified like some have the background of civil services also.highly qualified and well maintained dress and posture have been seen. The teaching style is impeccable.Dount clearing ability.
I don't know about placements. As I am doing ba honours in History so I don't have the adequate knowledge of this placement section but as of I have known from my seniors aur those who are in IIT aur B-voc , placement are also quite good.
Yeah it's very good...the cost of study is very less and according to the cost ,the quality is very good.highly skilled teachers, primitive but good infrastructure, primitiveness shows more historical background of the college.
Ek number. There are various activities that one should go and explore those like dancing , singing , gazals, poetry, etc. It is an anti- ragging University so there is no ragging inside the campus but sometimes it's happening in some hostel obviously.
Yeah everything is good regarding BHU but the administration is very bad, very bad means very bad. Faculty to controller, controller to dean, dean to lunch break , now wait for 2 hours again same process...ahhh very hectic and frustrating.

The degree awarded by BHU after completing MSc in Food Science and Technology will typically be an MSc (Master of Science), not an M Voc. The M Voc is usually a professional degree that focuses more on vocational training. As for the number of students admitted, it varies each year, so it's best to refer to the official BHU website or prospectus for detailed information about the intake and program specifics.
