Ph.D. program in Marine Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. This Ph.D. program offered by Berhampur University.


Eligibility Criteria

Marine science is an interdisciplinary subject. A candidate with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade and 50% of marks or an equivalent grade for SC & ST and Physically challenged candidate in relevant subjects at M.Sc. level is eligible to appear at the university research eligibility test (URET).
