Utkal University, Bhubaneswar placement cell is a separate unit that facilitates the recruitment and career development of the students. Utkal University placement cell organises activities like seminars, webinars, interactive sessions, and guest lectures, online mock tests to enhance confidence and strengthen the capacity of the young talents. Utkal University placement cell helps students in pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately attaining desired employment.

Utkal University placement cell also organises Basic Employability Skills Training for students from all streams that includes training in job preparedness, communication skills, etiquette and manners, personality grooming, teamwork and IT skills. As per the NIRF report of 2024, 112 UG students were placed in Utkal University placements 2023 while from the PG courses 925 students were placed. Yes it's average and good also but need to come more very good number of students might have get good placements highest package salary offered in this only placement process is not so easy yes college is supportive

Placement for our department isn't that good. Companies prefer other institutes over Utkal when it comes to MBA. The highest package our department has got was 17lpa. The hiring company was an agriculture based startup.

We are yet to go through placements but I have seen my seniors getting placed in companies like Jio. The faculty also provides a lot of support so that people can find their dream jobs. Fingers crossed that we also find our dream jobs on campus.
