Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna was established in the year 2016. To enrol in B.V.Sc course at BASU Patna students must have a valid score in NEET UG examination. Admission to the B.F.Sc course is based on the score of the BCECE examination. Candidates interested in pursuing B.E/B.Tech from the college have to appear in JEE Main/ BCECE examination. For admission to M.Tech/ M.V.Sc courses students have to appear in ICAR AIEEA examination. Admission to the PhD  course is based on the scores of ICAR AICE JRF/ SRF exam.
