24 MonthsThe course on Clinical Research and Experimental Medicine deals with the clinical trial regulations, Good Clinical Practice guidelines, study designs and research methodology involved in bringing a potential drug from the laboratory to market. The global clinical research market is growing fast with the annual growth rate over 20% and there is a need to have trained man power to handle clinical trials in ethical and scientific manner. The M.Sc program is aimed to train students from basic and medical sciences in clinical and pre-clinical research in order to prepare the candidate for carrying out ethical research with scientific merit and also to protect the rights, safety and wellbeing of patients participating in clinical trials.
A Candidate must have passed MBBS/BDS/BSc (Allied Health Sciences) / B.Sc. (Life Sciences / Biosciences) / B.Sc. Zoology, Botany with Ancillary Zoology / B.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Genetics/Chemistry (with Zoology/Botany/Biology ancillary)) / Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) / Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T.) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) / Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Physician’s Assistant or any graduate degree in Medical / Health Science awarded by a recognized Indian or Foreign University.
Admission will be based on merit and personal interview.
