I have thoroughly explored the college and have seen the facilities and equipment available for the students. The wifi is available throughout the campus using a student id and password. The food is tolerable.
I have taken CSE(core). Academics are taken care by teachers who have much knowledge of the subject they are teaching. Students may find it hard to follow at times, due to some of the teacher's pace or way of speaking. Resources are uploaded timely by the teachers on Google classroom.
Being a fresher I can't comment much on this, but from what I have heard and seen where some of the graduates have been placed, there are loads of companies visiting here for offering placements. Not really sure about the percentage of students placed.
The only decent thing about SRM is only the main campus (not sure about the other campuses). Classes in the University building are air conditioned but it is the only building with air conditioning as of now. The library is really good. with plenty of places to sit along with a vast variety of books. Only issue is that you might not always find a place to sit that has a plug point, in case you want to use your laptop. The Wi-Fi is available within the university and in the tech park buildings.
This is the worse part about being in SRM. There are very few faculty members that actually know what they are talking about. They walk into class with PowerPoints and just start talking. If that was the only issue, it wouldn't be a big deal because you can pretty much keep your head down and scroll through your phones to pass time, but no. These people are out there to make your life as miserable as possible.
From the 7th semester, students will be eligible to appear for campus placements, but from the 6th semester itself, the university will conduct placement training so that students can learn about real-world competition and have awareness about the questions and processes of the placements. Prestigious companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Bosch, Flipkart, etc., have offered placements for the students of our university
our college has all facility and good infrastructure and all room are air conditioned and latest equipment available in lab there are all sports available in our college in every month sports competition organize or participate in library all books are available where you can easily acces cse student can isssue book upto 5 but if you not give book back or reissue within 15 days than you have to pay fine 1 per day and free wifi available and module availabe
i study computer science engineering core i chhose thi because i have intrest in coddding Quality of education is good teachers are supportive at every moment i think curriculum is not latest acc to industry demand they teach theory rather than practical knowledge every month they take exam give practical knowledge and help in making projects make student to job ready
placement of your college is good many company come in our college like microsoft google amazon etc and you score good cgpa or you have skill then you easily get placed and good communication skill latest news is this more than 5 student do internship in microsoft and 6 student get pachage of 22 lpa on campus and average package is 8 lpa and remove mass recriter than average pachage is 4 lpa cllg is supportuve at every moment

SRM University has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classrooms are spacious enough for students to study. The library is quite effective for us students to study. Hostels have moderate Wi-Fi. The living spaces are clean.
I am currently pursuing Btech in Computer science engineering with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The quality of teaching is good, but as an engineering student you and your friends are the ones who teach you in the last moment.
Placements are going on currently for seniors. Packages offered varies from 5 lacs going upto like 22 lac or maybe more depending on the skill set. Average salary is guess 6-7 lac in Btech. Other departments I am not sure.
Course cost is very high honestly, the exposure must be worth it.
People roam around freely in the campus. But there's no wifi in the campus outside the buildings. There are canteens and shops for daily needs
It's a good college overall, I hope in the end it becomes worth the money.
Our college has good infrastructure but most of it is somewhat broken because of lots of fight and politics in du the fights, otherwise classes are good and clean canteen food is also good.We have centralised Airconditioner in the classrooms and laboratories.
The studies are almost Outstanding there is more of teaching less of politics as a major ratio is of boys so teaching environment is affected somewhat but teachers are well qualified and helps students in every way.
The placements are that good but major portion of students go for higher studies or are interested in politics , the average salary is usually around 5 lpa the placement process is definitely not a smooth one but everyone has to do it.
As I have experienced in this college, The infrastructure is so good and well-maintained. The buildings and resources, up-to-date technology and equipment, and so many are available for students. The classrooms are kept clean. We have sports and technical facilities. The canteen in this college has tasty food with reasonable prices.
I am doing my B.tech in this college, The faculty are so much better. They are confined to deliver lectures, lead discussions, assign and grade assignments, and offer guidance and mentorship to students. Totally the quality if study and teaching here is excellent. The curriculum of the college is updated and relevant to our field.
We have good placements coming every year in our college. 80% of students are placed every year it is minimum. The average package in our branch is 3-6LPA and the highest is 36 LPA. We have career guidance centers. The placement process is little bit tough.
The college infrastructure , facilities and equipment of my college are very good . There is a library available in the university . The campus is wifi enabled and and the overall hygiene is really high .
The faculty members are really experienced in their respective fields . Workshops and guest lectures are organised to ensure industry readiness of students . There is a library available in the university .
The placements in my college is good . Every year 70 to 80 percent students are placed at the best companies . The college supports the students in the placement procedure. There is a dedicated placement cell. Several trainings and guest lectures are conducted by the placement cell to help the students.
Yes, College has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for a student. free wifi all over the campus and hostels and in every floor of class the washrooms and drinking water facilities is also there.
Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's in computer science in engineering and I am in the 7th semester, yes the curriculum is kept updated every year as per requirements of the market and the companies.
The quality of placement at my college is quite impressive about 80-90% percent of students get placed every year, In my department Computer Science and the average engineering package is about 6 lakh per annum.
The college infrastructure is modern and well-equipped. The classrooms are designed to facilitate effective learning, and the labs are up to date with the latest technology. The library is extensive and well-maintained. The sports facilities are commendable, promoting physical fitness among students.
The academic environment is both rigorous and rewarding, with a curriculum that pushes students to achieve their best. Professors are supportive and knowledgeable, though balancing the demands can be challenging.
An excellent placement drive with a focus on industry readiness. The college’s placement cell offered consistent support and organized numerous recruitment events, helping many students secure desirable job offers.
Affordable tuition with high quality of education. Good choice for value-conscious students.
Dynamic student life with lots of clubs, events, and opportunities to engage with others.
The college campus is excellent. The campus is very big and the architecture is very unique. This one the biggest campus in the whole surrounding . There are parking facilities , n number of classrooms and labs and big playgrounds.
All the faculties members of the college is supportive in nature. They always guide the students in career development. They guide the students in choosing career opportunities in future. They try to make the concept easy.
The placement of the college is good. Average package of the college is approximately 600000 . The college also provides internships opportunities to all the students with good companies. All the teachers facilitate the students in these processes.
With a SRM rank of 39,601, it may be challenging to secure a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) seat at SRM University, Chennai, as the closing rank for CSE in past years has ranged between 9,500 and 10,500. However, there may be a possibility in other campuses of SRM or for different branches. It's important to keep checking the official SRMJEEE cutoff updates for the most accurate information.
