About YSRUHS Vijayawada
Dr YSR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada was established in 1986. YSR University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by various councils and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is founded by Dr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a former CM of Andhra Pradesh and inaugural chancellor of the university.
YSR Health University offers courses provides various health sciences courses, such as allopathic medicine, dentistry, nursing, and alternative medicine systems. NTR University of Health Sciences was renamed as Dr YSR University of Health Sciences in 2022 to commemorate Dr Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, another ex-Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
YSR University has a large network of 146 affiliated colleges and institutes that offer a wide range of courses at the graduate, and postgraduate levels. The courses at NTRUHS include B.P.T, B.Sc.,B.Nurs, M.D.S., P.G.D, M.D., M.Sc. and M.P.T.. NTRUHS provides admissions to these courses based on entrance exams like NEET MDS and NEET PG conducted either by the university itself or by the state government.

YSRUHS Vijayawada Scholarship
Dr YSR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada initiated the Undergraduate Student Research Scholarships (UGSRS) to promote interest and aptitude for research among the undergraduate students. The main objective of the NTRUHS Vijayawada scholarship program is to provide an opportunity to undergraduate students in institutions that are affiliated to NTRUHS, Vijayawada. Around 500 students are given NTRUHS Vijayawada scholarships. The university offers Under Graduate Student Research Scholarships (UGSRS) to those students who are pursuing M.B.B.S., B.D.S, Ayush, Nursing and Physiotherapy.
The value of the UGSRS is Rs 5,000 per month for two months duration (the total sum is Rs 10,000) and is meant to be a stipend for the student. So, the UGSRS program is for only those students who are pursuing M.B.B.S./B.D.S/Ayush/Nursing/Physiotherapy from recognised institutions.

Infrastructure is a vast and very beautiful. The whole gitam college is spread across 350acres and dental college is at the entrance only. The facilities, equipment, wifi are super. College is well hygienic.

Hope you are doing well. See, as you have qualified NEET UG-2021 you can definitely participate in the Andhra Pradesh state quota counselling but with a score of 399 getting a government BHMS seat won't be possible for you despite having an OBC category. You atleast needed to score 500+ for the same .
You can try for private or management quota seats if you wish to.

If your query is regarding procedure to take admission in Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, then i would like to inform you that the college offers admission to the MBBS course through NEET examination.
Following is the NEET Eligibility criteria for NEET 2022. Though the complete details for the NEET 2022 will be released in the official information bulletin released by National Testing Agency NTA soon.
Following is the academic criteria a candidate has to fulfill to be eligible to write the NEET examination.
• Aspirant Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
• The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects
• UR - 50%,
• OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
• PWD - 45%
• AGE WISE eligibility criteria is candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2022.
There is no upper age limit till the Supreme Court passes its judgment on it.
