GITAM University (Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management) is one of the top ranking private institutes in India, ranked no. 71 in the country by NIRF for 2020. It has 3 campuses and 20 institutes across Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bangalore. The university offers more than 100 programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctoral levels in Technology, Pharmacy, Science, Management, International Business, Architecture and Law.

The few differences between the Vizag and Hyderabad campus is that only the Vizag campus has schools of nursing, law, Gandhian studies, medical sciences & research. Both campuses have schools of technology, science, management, architecture and pharmacy. Other than that, the Vizag campus is larger, with better infrastructure and more facilities than the Hyderabad campus. No, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam does not accept JEE Main Score for admission into B.Tech courses.

This university accepts COMEDK UGET and GITAM GAT scores for admission into B.Tech courses.

No GITAM Visakhapatnam offers a number of undergraduate programmes in the field of Engineering through GAT UGTP.

For the majority of UG courses, candidates are required to pass Class 12 from a recognised or affiliated board as the basic eligibility criteria. The deemed University conducts GAT UGTP and GOT to offer admission to most of its UG courses.

B.Tech, B.Pharmacy

• Admission to these courses will be done through the GITAM Admission Test
• For B.Tech courses, candidates can also apply through other entrance examinations like JEE Main, AP EAMCET or TS EAMCET.
• Candidates have to apply for the programme through an online application process.
• Candidates have to appear for the entrance test (GAT (UGPT)/JEE Mains/AP EAMCET)
• A merit list will be prepared for different programmes on the basis of the score obtained by the candidates in the entrance tests.

You can get admission into GITAM  college without even GITAM exams . So you just need a good 10+2 marks as GITAM is a private college and considers admission on 12th marks also. According to the marks you have score in the exam of GITAM, you can easily get your desired branch.But for GITAM, Vishakhapatnam the cutoffs are generally high so you might get other GITAM college. GITAM GAT exam is the entrance examination which is conducted by GITAM University for admission to its various programmes. But Unfortunately, GITAM GAT 2020 dates have been passed. The application for GAT 2020 was started in November 2019 and was continued upto May 2020. Even the results were declared on May 25. So for this year, GAT 2020 is completed. 1.firstly gitam is emerging into international standards…

2.It is very close to Visakhapatnam so it is safe for travelling…
