36 MonthsBachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a three years full-time undergraduate course offered by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
Eligibility Criteria
Plus Two examination under 10+2 system or examination equivalent there to of a Board/ University established by Law in India with 40% marks ( 35% marks for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates).
OR
Any examination of a University/ Board/ College or School in foreign country recognized as equivalent for the above purpose by the Vice - Chancellor/ equivalence committee on its own or on recommendations of Association of Indian Universities with 40% marks ( 35% marks in case of SC/S T).
Admission Details
The final admission to BCA is based on a competitive examination alone for 30 subsidized seats. The competitive test shall comprise of three parts e.g. Mathematics (40%), Logical Ability (40%) and General Awareness (20%).

Our department has a mini-auditorium, GD room, conference hall, computer lab, photostat room, and Wi-Fi access. In my university, all kinds of facilities are provided, such as wi-fi, lab, classroom, library, medical, sports and games, etc.

our college boasts good infrastructure. classrooms have Wi Fi services. labs have all the equipments required for use. we have one huge library with well organized books. hostels are cleaned and well maintained but food is not good.
Overall I can say that it was Great.

1. Absolutely, college infrastructure is great and the facilities provided by the college are decent and the equipment that college have, are all good but they need some updates as I was a BCA Student there and the softwares they were running on are outdated. 2. Well as I always use my own internet so I don't need wifi and smart boards are rarely used , only when you're giving presentation etc. 3. Yes , spaces were clean and food was good and hygienic too
