24 MonthsMaster of Arts (MA) in Hindi is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
Eligibility Criteria
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 48 credits in Major subject, 48 credits in two minor subjects, 9 credits in compulsory, 1 credit in GI & hobby with aggregate of 106 credits for the award of pass degree.
OR
with atleast 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC.ST.) from a University established by law in India.
In Master of translation, visual arts and M.A. in Yoga studies, preference will be given to those students who have studied these subject at undergraduate level.
In M.A. Rural Development the candidate should have B.A with Major in any of the subjects: i.e. Rural Development, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Public Administration with 45% marks (40 % in case of SC./ST.). The eligibility condition is same for both the subsidized and non-subsidized seats.

College Infrastructure
University infrastructure is good and provides us all the facilities like playground, libraries, auditorium, and hostels for both boys and girls. There are total 15 hostels. And University provides us stress free environment.

Himachal Pradesh university Shimla have developed infrastructure. Its provided all facilities and equipment like Playground, Auditorium, Libraries, Wifi, and hostel for both boys and girls. Total hostel is 15.

Our college have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. The facility I have in our classroom Labourtries libraries sports room center and hostel are very good. They all used and well maintenance.
