the infrstructure of himachal pradesh university is quite nice but it is not upto the mark for an university due to it's advese and hilly geographical location. also it situated far away from the main city of the shimla and lacks basic aminities like transportation,healthcare, and nearby market access.

i am currently prusuing masters of business administration in rural development from the himachal pradesh university shimla. i had opted for this particular course because i want to study the various aspects of rural india.

the himachal pradesh university shimla provides decent placemnets for many of its courses . But unfortunately masters of business administration in rural development is not one of them. this course also don't have any particular placement cell

from value point of view this university is average

I am pursuing master in science in chemistry from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. I opted for this particular course because I always had good intrest in chemistry.and reason for selecting this particular University because of its calm environment and nearness to nature

The placements from Himachal pardesh University Shimla is good enough for some courses but for this particular course the placements are low and we have to go outside for interview it doesn't provide in campus placements.

For value for money I can rate this University average.

i am arun thakur studyin masters of business administration in rural development from himachal pardesh university. the quality of teaching and teachers are decent. and there are also many oppurtunities in this field.

the placements from the himachal pardesh university is quite well in some departments but in our department the case is bit different. the placements are very low in our department and also packages are also very low.

Although the have many courses here and for some of them the placements are also very good but our this particular course the placements are not up to the mark. From here the average placement package is not more than 50000 a month

the is quite good here but it is not upto the for an university. it is also located in an isolate place far away from the main city. but this is infrastructure is acceptable here because it is loated in hilly area.

I am pursuing law from himachal pardesh university shimla. i opted for law because i always wanted to be a lawyer. and also the high court is situated nearby this university in the same city, which provide internship oppurtunities.

although there is no placement cell in the department of law, but there is enough brand value of the department in the legal field. also if one want to go to coorporate sector the department provides ample support for the same.

Hpu campus is a large campus having good infrastructure . Include parks, parking, a big library with all the facilities , smart class room, large canteen, having trees ground spread a kind of calmness

I am pursuing MA political science. Teachers are knowledgfull and understanding. Department is good. Various trips, education visits and seminars were organized on time to time basis for the enhancement of students

It gave the opportunity to fight in the competitive world. Teaching in colleges, schools or can go to research also. Many students after clearing net JRF now doing research. Department provide the environment required for the betterment of the students.
