The digital media industry in India has grown by over 38% in the last five years. India is the second country globally with the largest number of internet users, more than 600 million. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) provides this training on Swayam. The Digital Media online course will help candidates analyse the role of the internet and social media in India. Dr K S Arun Selvan from IGNOU teaches this programme via online mode.
