B.Sc Actuarial and Financial Mathematics at IUST Pulwama Offline Course

Bachelor of Science in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics is three years (6 Semester) full-time undergraduate Honors program offered by the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Islamic University of Science and Technology, Pulwama. 

This program will prepare students for an actuarial career as well as postgraduate work in mathematics or applied mathematics. An actuary uses mathematical tools to do risk assessment mainly in the financial services sector including insurance companies, commercial banks, investment banks and retirement funds. Actuaries play a key role in designing insurance plans by determining the premium, monitoring the profitability of the company, and recommending corrective measures whenever necessary.
