Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University (JRRSU) was established in 1998 is a premier state University was established in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Despite occupying a large area of 78 acres this institution is aimed at the preservation and development of Sanskrit literature and education. Accredited by the University Grants Commission [UGC] and affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education [NCTE], JRRSU provides 84 courses spread over 14 programmes of study. The university is currently enroling 894 learners and has a faculty of 20 members, thereby ensuring that the learners as well as the faculty members create the best ambiance for learning and research in different areas of Sanskrit studies and related areas.

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University has numerous up to date facilities that aid its academic functions. JRRSU has instituted various scholarships for the assistance of academically best students and weaker sections of the society: Merit-cum-means scholarships are awarded to the eligible students based on their academic performances and their financial assistance needs. Degree-wise Admission Process

M.Ed: The M.Ed course at JRRSU has a carrying capacity of 508. Either the qualifying examination or an entrance examination conducted by the university determines eligibility for admission. Candidates need to have a B.Ed. qualification with at least 50% marks.

BA Shastri: This undergraduate course primarily focuses on studies in Sanskrit and will, thus, be evaluating its admission basis on merit in qualifying examinations (10+2). Under this course, various specializations are offered by the university.

MA Acharya: This postgraduate program for Sanskrit studies assesses its students based on performance in the BA Shastri or equivalent course. Specialization includes Vedas, Sahitya Shastra, Navya Vyakaran, Jyotish, and Dharm Shastra.

B.Sc Yoga Science: Admission in this program is based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10+2 with Science). This course integrates traditional yoga practice with modern scientific methodology.

M.Sc Yoga Science: This program for postgraduate level consists of merit-based admission, which relies on the merit of the qualifying examination of B.Sc Yoga Science or equivalent degree.
