Hope you are doing good.

If you are thinking about pursuing BSc at JIPMER you must be knowing that JIPMER ducts online examination for BSc nursing.

The problem with an online exam is that you cannot get your hands on the exact question paper if the conducting authority doesn't releases it. Jipmer doesn't publish its BSc nursing paper so so there is no way we can know the official previous year papers of BSC nursing.

if you have applied for BSC nursing this year you should check out their website for latest updates regarding counselling and cut off.

https://www.jipmer.edu.in/announcement/rank-letter-and-results-bsc-msc-mph-pgd-pgfpbd-courses-academic-year-2020-21

Meaning coaching institutes claim to have the question paper of online exam but those questions are solely based on the memory of the candidate who appeared in that exam. So we cannot completely trust them.

I cannot provide you direct links but there are multiple websites which have good sample papers which you should definitely check out. Just google BSC nursing question paper.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

On the basis of your rank there seems less chances of yours to get Jipmer Puducherry. The rank you obtained is not enough to get a seat in Jipmer Puducherry. Therefore there seems less chances of yours to get Jipmer Puducherry.

Hope this will help you!

All the best for your bright future!

Congratulations on your excellent score in NEET.

As far as your AIR is concerned, keeping in mind, JIPMER is one of the best Medical Institutes next to AIIMS Delhi, the small intake of JIPMER, and that too since JIPMER doesnt have its own test and intake is totally through NEET, you perhaps have bleak chances and might just make it. The expected cutoff will surely be no less than AIR 400-500 for General Category. However you do have other excellent options at your Rank like newer AIIMS, KGMU Lucknow, CMC Vellore, MAMC Delhi and other top medical institutes.

Do keep a check on the medical counselling procedure and dates. For more information about JIPMER Counselling do follow the link below

Dear Parimalam

There are 6 seats reserved for NRI/ OCI in JIPMER (5 seats in Puducherry campus & 1 seat in Karaikal campus). You should write the entrance exam along with every other candidate; there will be a separate ranking list for NRI candidates. Admission will be based on the ranking list.

You need to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi if you have passed the qualifying examination other than those mentioned in the JIPMER list.

You should opt for admission under Self Financing Scheme at the time of application itself.

During counselling, you should produce recent NRI Status certificate of the parent or candidate issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective Country with the Embassy seal (or Certificate of Registration for OCI).

Hope you got my answer if any queries revert back soon.

Goodluck !

All the best.

Hi Aspirant,

if you are selected in all those colleges then you have to choose it wisely.

Choose JIPMER if you are from south india.

Your native place plays a major role. All of these are really good colleges with ranking in order- JIPMER > BHU > AIIMS BHOPAL

Thank you.

Hey,

The college predictor has been designed as per the last year cut off. The AIIMS, JIPMER is included in All India Counselling from this year and there is no previous cut off available for these colleges hence it is not included in the college  predictor.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

This is the first time JIPMER will be giving admission on the basis of Neet Score. So there is no such information about the previous year's cutoffs. But there are total 249 seats (JIPMER Puducherry (187) and Karaikal campus (62) and 55 seats for ur category in Puducherry and 19 in Karaikal) offered for MBBS in JIPMER. So it can be expected that an all India rank within 300 to 350 can fetch you a seat in JIPMER Puducherry. Now as you told, your rank is 8000. With this rank it would be very difficult to get JIPMER Puducherry campus as well as Karaikal campus. But you can try for government medical colleges of Delhi such as VMMC, Uttar Pradesh which are achievable with this rank. Also you can use our Neet college Predictor tool to know about your admission possibilities through Neet based on your score and rank http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
