But, if you have passed your M.Sc. from a government institute, chances are pretty low.

QA or QC :
Estimated Pay Scale It varies from Company to company you might get a take home salary between INR 10,000 18,000 Rs.

Clinical Research , Clinical Data Management and Pharmacovigilance.
Pay Around INR 18,000 to 22,000 . Pay scale is similar to the pay scale of the Software engineers and even the growth is a bit fast when compared to the other fields.

Ph.D (Doctor of Philosophy) after Msc Biotechnology / Micro biology / Bio Sciences
Standard - INR 8,000 or 30,000 if CSIR NET Qualified or if the Project is approved.

Post graduate Institute of Medical Education Research conducts its own entrance examination for providing admission in Master of Science Medical biotechnology courses. The pattern of the entrance examination is mentioned below:

  • The examination will be conducted in the online mode
  • The duration of the examination will be 180 minutes
  • There will be 250 questions with 5 choices.
  • Negative marking will be done in the entrance examination for every wrong answer
  • The medium of instructions will be in the English language
  • The questions will be in the format of multiple choice.

In pgimer most of the courses offered is masters degree such as bsc,msc,phd,md,mds in different streams and a diploma course in public health.there is no such short term course like icu.

However you can get these courses in some others college.i am providing the college list in the link

Any qualified marks rank will take you there.
If you have top rank then you will get Govt college seat and If you have medium rank then in your state you may expect Govt college or private college seat.
If you have lower rank then you may expect management quota seats in private college or deemed University.
