If you are enquiring about NEET 2020, with less than 26 days left for the exam, you should solely concentrate on what you have learnt until now. Buying new books and studying them now might be stressful at this stage. But if you are preparing for NEET 2021, MHRD did mention that the NEET 2021 syllabus will be reduced and revised. And so buying any books might be a hasty decision. Nevertheless, to answer your question, 98% of the questions from NEET are asked from NCERT books. It is for the remaining 2% that you have to go for other vooks. Now NEET doesn't have deep rooted questions like JEE Advanced. So CENGAGE might be too much of a brainload. So stick with these books:

NCERT Physics Class XI & Class XII
Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma
Objective Physics By DC Pandey
Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker
Fundamental Physics by Pradeep
Problems in General Physics by IE Irodov

hey,

Hi

it is the first time ever when JIPMER is conducting admission through neet examination so predicting cut off marks is quite difficult for JIPMER

Also,
cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc and JIPMER will be providing admission through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high

keeping these things in mind you should target at least 650 marks in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in JIPMER if you belong to general category

Thank you

Hello Aspirant,

As we know that registrations for JIPMER MDS counselling 2020 was scheduled between July 9th to July 15th, so now you cannot register yourself for this counselling process.

However if you have any strong and genuine reason due to which you were unable to register yourself for counselling then you should directly contact to the competent authority addressing your issue. You should write an e-mail to JIPMER Helpdesk for academics at dean@jipmer.edu.in (mailto:dean@jipmer.edu.in)

They will help you surely for this.

I hope this information helps you.

Hello there,
AIIMS and JIPMER have merged with NEET but it's not the other way. So the trend of the questions will remain same for NEET. You should focus on the previous year question papers of NEET. Give mock tests daily to know your preparation. You can solve AIIMS and JIPMER papers, if you wish to practice more, but the pattern will be different. So it's better if you stick to the NEET papers.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

Hello

it is the first time ever when JIPMER is conducting admission through neet examination so predicting cut off marks is quite difficult for JIPMER

Also,

cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc and JIPMER will be providing admission through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high

keeping these things in mind you should get 650 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in JIPMER if you belong to OBC category

Thank you

Aswin, From 2020, there will be no more JIPMER as a separate entrance examination. Admission to 200 seats of JIPMER 2 branches will be done based on NEET score. through All India Counselling. And for a seat in JIPMER if you belong to General Category, you might need atleast 650 and for Reserved Categories you might need 600 atleast, Now this is not certain yet because we need to wait until NEET 2020 results to see how do they pan out. NEET 2021 will be conducted with a revised and reduced syllabus as the Academic year has been reduced due to Corona Pandemic. In such case if you are in  your 11th right now, we would say, stick to NCERT books. And when the new syllabus is released, you can prepare from the books that will be released at that point in time. You do not want to waste an entire year on the topics that might be ommitted. So stick to NCERT, practise as many as previous papers as you can. Now practising previous papers is a good thing because you can keep an eye on the time because NEET is only for 3hours. Which means that you need to be able to complete 180 questions within 3 hours. So practise Physics and Chemistry formulae, Peiodic tables and laws. Attempt atleast one previous paper a week to keep checking your progress. Always make sure to make a note of important points that are being taught in the class or you think you are important. You should make it a point to complete the syllabus atleast thrice before NEET exam schedule has been released. Thar should be the target.
