72 Months

Ph.D. in Commerce shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has obtained any Master’s Degree or equivalent from UGC/AICTE recognized body with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-I and Differently-abled candidates) in an aggregate or equivalent grade.

Admission Details

Selection of candidates for Ph.D programme will be based on Entrance Test and marks obtained in the qualifying Examinations. Final cutoff marks will be decided by the University before publication of the results.
