As a adult now pursuing my masters from National Institute Of Technology Jamshedpur. If we have to say something about infrastructure so that is great no doubt all the basic necessities are present in the college whether it be mess, hostel rooms and what not.
I am a student of Masters of Computer Applications, and the teachers I have got are great. Very helping and technical. No doubt the curriculum requires some positive advancements so that the masters student can get more opportunities.
For MCA the placements are quite average they are not very very high. You have to focus on your skills so that you can get your dream package. And also if you want go for further studies than that can also turn to be great.
A tremendously amazing Institute of india, NIT Jamshedpur is having a beautiful Campus along with smart classrooms , developed laboratories and full wifi facility in the campus. But the mess food is not that much good.
In my college the teachers are the ones who themselves being from NIT'S and IIT's, and do have really great teaching skills. They are best in quality. The curriculum of college for my branch is completely up to date.
The top companies like Amazon visit our college during placements, during this year placement's although recession was their but our seniors performed very well and hoping the same and more improved opportunities for us in future from college.
As a student Of NIT Jamshedpur I can definitely say that the college has very good infrastructure. The facilities like wifi, smart boards all are present in the college. Wifi speed is slow sometimes.. Mess food is worse.
The teachers in my branch I. E Computer Science and Engineering are very good. New technology AI, Ml are their in the course and especially chatgpt is being used by the students a lot. In the curriculum new subjects are included..
My college is having amazing placements record especially in the CSE branch, Some of my seniors have also got into big companies from MAANG. The average package is highest for cse branch. And placement percentage is almost 100% in cse.
I found the infrastructure of NIT Jamshedpur quite ok. In my point of view their can be some more developments in the hostels. The facilities of classrooms, laboratories, libraries all are present in my college. Sports department is also very much active for the students to participate.
It has some brilliant teachers which are very well qualified. The quality of teachers is very high. As we are having advancements in the technology at a very high pace I think the colleges should also change the curriculum accordingly very fast but it is not happening that much.
The average salary at NIT Jamshedpur is around 12 lpa. Which this year due to recession has quite a decreased. But overall it is having great placements over the last 3-4 years. In my branch I. E civil their are good no. of companies that came on campus.
It is just amazing if we talk about the hostel facilities. Also the academic section is well maintained. My college is fully equipped with facilities like wifi, libraries etc. Their are smart classrooms in the campus..
It has a strong academic culture. The teachers are driven to make students placement ready and as the new technologies coming into the tech world, they are also being updated in the course. Definitely, you have to learn some important things from outside.
It is very important for every student to look for the college placements before choosing it. In NIT Jamshedpur the placements opportunities are very good for the main branches and if you give your best then you will definitely land into big companies.
All the facilities available in our college are great. Wi-Fi works well. Labs and classrooms are very good. Library is a good attraction and all types of books are available in the library.canteen food is also good.
Teachers in our college are very helpful. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant.Semester exams are difficult. Students need to be attentive in class. The pass percentage is high.
Around 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA, the lowest salary package is 10 LPA.Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, etc. Around 50% of students got internships in our course.
Facilities are very good in our college. The classroom is good. The library is good. The hostel facilities are also good. Food is okay. Medical facilities are also there. Sports ground is also available. Overall, Infrastructure is good.
Teachers are helpful. Almost every professor is a Ph.D. holder. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers helps the students to clear their doubts in easiest way. They are very supportive.
98% of students get placed. The highest package was 53 lakh, the lowest package was 15 lakh.Top recruiting companies are Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart etc. About 40% of students got internships at Amazon etc.
The infrastructure of NIT JSR is average to good. Labs are at a decent level. The lecture hall is very good and fully equipped with all modem technologies. We have a good and large library at our college. The hostel at NIT JSR is good. In the first year, we get hwo-seater rooms: later, a single room is allotted. The food quality of the mess is good Especially liked by local residents. All types of sports facilities are provided by the college, except swimming. We also have a night canteen system, which remains open until late at night.
Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and they are very well qualified and knowledgeable. Yes, this course is very relevant, as its demand is increasing day by day, Semester exams are quite dificult. You ean't get geed marks with just one night of study:
NIT JSR recorded 100% placements last year. The highest package offered was INR 18 lacs per annum, white the lowest was INR 6 lacs per annum. The average package of this branch was near INR 10 lacs per annum. Tala Steel, JSW and many other core companies are the top recruiters. More than 90% of students got internships at various core companies, like Tata Steel.
Government college yes value for money
National institute of technology placement are very good
Nice college and overall is good
Facilities like Wi-Fi and air conditioned classrooms are available in the college. Labs are still in the old academic building, so they are not good. The college has a Central Library where enough books are available as per your requirements. Library provides high-speed internet as well. Hostel facility is good having a common room in the hostel where the students can play indoor games and even watch TV. Food quality is decent as per the money charged. The college also provides medical facilities. The hostel facilities include sports and games like volleyball, badminton, chess, table tennis and carrom, etc.
We need to give two exams, mid-semester and end semester exams, every semester. Passing an exam is never a problem but if you want to be on the top, you need to work a little hard. No viva is there in the mid semesters, but we need to give viva during the end semesters along with practicals. On every 120 students, there is one faculty member. Most of the faculty is experienced but I personally don't like their teaching. You will not learn much in the classrooms. They only come for the purpose of syllabus completion.
So placements is the best thing in NIT Jamshedpur. Around 99% students get placed. The highest package offered is 83 LPA and the average package is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Atlassian and Deshaw. Around 50 to 60% students got internships in Atlassian, etc.
Good college.
Infrastructure was almost Satisfied. The Classrooms, toilets, campus, Overall are Properly located with Proper paint. Classroom are all filled with proper benches and desks. There is excellent library facilities and proper Rooms are clean.
Teachers are well qualified,Most of them have master's or PhD degrees and are knowledgeable.Dome teachers are very helpful and always been to help every possible.Course curriculum is totally well designed.
Placements are good. There are a number of companies which recruit students from this college in order to give good future to their Students to their Companies, such as TCS, Accenture, Cognizant etc. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. We have opportunities to sit in placement with computer science and information technology students.
Seniors are really very supportive
While taking a gap year due to your father's illness is understandable, it might pose some challenges during placements.
Companies often prioritize consistent academic performance and a structured college experience. A gap year might raise questions in the minds of recruiters. However, this doesn't mean you cannot excel in placements.
Key factors to consider:
Focus on building a strong profile through academics, internships, projects, and soft skills. Your ability to effectively communicate your experiences and demonstrate your potential will be crucial in overcoming any initial reservations.
hope this helps you!!
Hello,
If you are a student from Delhi, you should enrol in CSE at IGDTUW; however, if you are from another state, you should enrol in ECE at NIT Jamshedpur. Both, however, provide a fantastic placement facility. IGDTUW charges less in tuition than NIT Jamshedpur. IGDTUW is the place to enrol if you're interested in college life, while NIT Jamshedpur is where you should enrol if you want to receive an exceptional education. The faculty of NIT Jamshedpur is superior than that of IGDTUW.
You need to have both an ECE and CS degree if you want to work in the IT sector.
And you can choose ECE if you wish to work in core ECE positions.
Thank You
