Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Kerala Culture shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Kerala Kalamandalam, Cheruthuruthy.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who possess a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or in related/ allied subjects with not less than 55% Marks/B+ Grade of this University or equivalent Degree of any other Indian or Foreign University recognized by the University are eligible to apply for the Integrated M.Phil-Ph.D. Program. SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 50% marks only or a B grade in their Master's Degree. Candidates who are awaiting the results of their qualifying examinations can also apply, but they shall produce their P.G. Mark lists and Provisional Certificates at the time of the Interview. The maximum age of the applicants for admission to the Integrated MPhil/Ph.D. program shall be 35(Thirty-five) as of the date of notification
