Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Manipal University, Jaipur. The program approved by AICTE.

Candidates are admitted directly to the second year of BTech Programme.

B Tech program in Information Technology nurtures students to cope with the ever-changing environment in technology and provides a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques.

The program offers a blend of computers, communication technologies and other information retrieving/processing tools so as to provide the student with the requisite know-how for solving real-life problems, enabling them to enter the world of opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

MET 2021 Rank Holders

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with anyone of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission to B Tech, with the minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the optional subject, put together.

Direct admission

For direct admission (in branches where seats are likely to remain vacant) the following candidates will be eligible:
All remaining MET 2021 rank holders, i.e., those who did not/could not come for counseling.
OR
All students who have a JEE rank and have qualified for JEE Advanced in that year
OR
All other Students with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and who have 60% or equivalent (in PMX subjects) in their 12th std. (where X could be Chemistry/Computers Science/ Biotechnology/Biology/Statistics/ Engineering Drawing).

B Tech - Lateral Entry - (Candidates are admitted directly to the second year).

Candidates who have passed 3-year diploma in a relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply for Lateral Entry to B Tech Programmes.

Admission Details

MAHE-OET 2021 Rank Holders

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2021.

Direct admission

Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

B Tech (Lateral Entry) For Diploma Holders

Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and there is no entrance test.

The college Infrastructure is actually great. Has lot of rooms and spacious area for studying and getting every student in plus the lab and computers are also very high end soo facilities is also never an issue.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is really beautiful and soothing. There are sports facilities, AC classrooms, parks, etc. It's pleasing to watch the environment and surroundings. Students have to pay for the wifi.
