Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Christian Studies is a full-time three-year course offered by Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong.


Eligibility Criteria

  1. MA in Christian Studies or any postgraduate degree considered equivalent by the Academic Committee of Theology and Religious Studies. A person with a secular postgraduate degree from a recognized University or Board deemed equivalent by the ACTRS of MLCU with a bridge course in the fundamentals of Biblical and Theological studies can do Ph.D. research in Christian Studies.
  2. Postgraduate Degree in any field with B.D/MDiv or bridge course in theology.
  3. Minimum two years of experience in ministry or teaching experience.
