NEHU Shillong scholarships are NEHU PG Merit Scholarship, UGC-NON- NET Fellowship for Research Scholars and The North-Eastern Hill University Students’ Aid Fund. To avail the scholarships at NEHU Shillong, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria.
For the NEHU PG Merit Scholarship, candidates should have minimum 55% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/B.Ed./B.B.A, etc. Additional requirements of this NEHU Shillong scholarship are that, candidates have to assist the University/Institution in the academic work, tutorials, evaluation of the test papers, laboratory demonstration, supervision of fieldwork, library activities like group seminars and symposia, etc.

For admission to the courses, candidates have to follow the NEHU Shillong admission criteria, which is different for different courses. For B.A. L.L.B (H) programme, candidates have to appear for a written test.
NEHU Shillong admission for B.Tech and B.Arch programme, candidates have to appear for JEE Main for B.Tech and NATA for B.Arch. Candidates have to appear for GATE for the M.Tech programme. Second, appear for GATE.
Third, the result will be declared and the cutoff will be released.
Fourth, candidates will be selected on the basis of merit scores of GATE.
Fifth, if there are insufficient GATE-qualified candidates, then the vacant seats will be filled through the university entrance exam.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is quite nice, the buildings and academic blocks are extremely pleasant. The overall ambiance of the campus is also very serene and peaceful. The laboratories are also very nice.
All in all, I had an enlightening and memorable experience.

The infrastructure of the Institution is more or less functions on satisfactory grounds. There is adequate number of labs and facilities for research work as well. The Library especially has an impressive collection of books and materials. If I have any gripes with the infrastructure, it would most likely be with that the campus needs more street lamps than is already placed and perhaps a faster WiFi connection for students. Otherwise, the campus is well-equipped with everything that is expected of a University. Guest houses are welcoming and comfortable for academics visiting from other universities as well. Students have ample space and opportunities to pursue their activities.
