MATS University, Raipur Facilities

MATS University, Raipur offers various facilities for its students and faculty members. MATS University facilities include a central library with the latest books, journals, research papers, study material, books for competitive exams, daily newspapers, and fortnightly and monthly magazines. The university has separate hostels for boys and girls equipped with well-furnished rooms, Wi-Fi facility, 24×7 security, laundry facility and other facilities.

MATS University facilities also include a well-equipped gymnasium for students as well as faculty. An in-house ambulance is available at campus for any emergency and is deployed 24x7 in the main campus. Other MATS University campus facilities are laboratories, medical facilities, IT infrastructure, sports facilities, auditorium, cafeteria, guest room, transport facility, banking/ ATM facility and many others. Boys Hostel
The University has Hostel has strives to keep-up this motto that education and stay, should go hand in hand, “Preparing for life”. Our Hostel has pulled to form a life-long friendship and remain small enough so that all students are known individually. Our staffs are trained, enthusiastic, motivated and committed to care for young people, extending the Hostel's theme of 'Preparation of life!' Our Hostel runs comprehensive proficiency programmes and we take great care in supporting all of our students' talents. We have students participating and succeeding in a diverse array of sports, cultural and academic pursuits. Parents of MATS Hostel students are welcome to get involved in every aspect of hostel life. Parents are kept informed about Hostel life of their children, with phone calls and letters. The boarding establishment provides an opportunity for young people to live away from home in a democratic way. Every effort is made to provide an atmosphere of natural Indian family in which these young people can fully grow. They are guided for sound relationships with their peers.

Library
The University Library has always maintained an up-to-date library. The library which started from just a single room in 2008, is now spread over two campus - the MATS main campus and City campus. The library endeavors to facilitate the students, faculty, and researcher in their research pursuits and study purpose. There are about 35000 documents in, which include books, journals, theses. It has access to about 110 international and national journal. In addition, MATS staff and students have access to e Shodh Sindhu, Manupatra, Lexis India, DELNET.
Laboratories
The University has departmental based laboratories facility for the students. Chemistry / Biochemistry Lab has some of the best glass wares and equipments to test the skills and patience of students. Microbiology Lab equipped with research grade binocular and trinocular microscopes, a microbial culture room and all other facilities for cultivation of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and other micro – organisms.
Medical/Hospital
The University has 24 hours Medical facility is available at our Aarang Campus. Ambulance available with a Doctor and Nurse. Student’s health data is maintained.
I.T Infrastructure
The University has Computer labs with 24 hours internet connectivity. Ultra Modern Class Rooms equipped with facilities like the LCD projector, OHP etc. Virtual learning through Video Conferencing facility. CAD / CAM Lab with computer graphics integrated suite of software for pattern design, automatic pattern grading pattern detailing marker making.
Gym
The University has a well equipped and separate portions of the Aerobic and Weight Room are the part of the Fitness Center. Fitness Center in the form of a well equipped centrally air-conditioned modern gymnasium.
Sports
The University has Facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess and are provided in the University campus. There is a fully equipped multipurpose Hall where Yoga, Martial-art, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo Classes are conducted for our students. Sports Center with indoor games like carom, chess, table tennis, scrabble and others are there to help the Matsonians re-energize themselves.
Auditorium
The University has an Air-conditioned Auditorium with modern audio-visual aids.
Alumni Associations
The University has a good networking for the alumni association.
Cafeteria
The University has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The University has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
Transport Facility
The University has a transport facility for students and staff.
Banks/ATMs
The University has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

The campus is small but other things at good like classrooms, wifi connectivity , sports ground , medical facilities, sports and games are excellent of my college , food quality is not so good but normal

Mats university infra is huge and you'll see many institutions in the same campus but no smart class though you can play sports ,no swimming pool bus facilities is there and hostel is good and the food is hygienic and clean

College is good a very bug university in CG purely atutonomus , classrooms are huge , hostels are very good with variety of foods and its hygenic , wifi is everywhere in the campus though low speed, and also sports are also there.

My brother in law is from Bangladesh and he completed MATS from there. Now, he wants to permanently move to India (Kolkata) and practice here as a doctor. Can he apply for the same? If yes, what would be the procedure for doing so??? please let me know

Hello,

Yes, your brother-in-law can apply to practice medicine in India, but he needs to meet the eligibility criteria set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and complete the required process:

1. Primary Medical Qualification: His

MATS degree from Bangladesh must be recognized by MCI.

2. Eligibility Certificate: He needs to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from MCI.

FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate

Examination): He must pass the FMGE screening test.

Registration with MC/: After passing

FMGE, he needs to register with MCl.

5. State Medical Council Registration:

He also needs to register with the West Bengal Medical Council (WBMC) to practice in Kolkata.

6. Work Permit/Visa: He may require a work permit or visa to work in India.

Consult the Indian Embassy or Consulate in Bangladesh for guidance.

Procedure:

1. Check MCI's website for recognized foreign medical institutions and eligibility criteria.

2. Apply for an Eligibility Certificate from

MCI.

3. Prepare for and pass the FMGE

screening test.

4. Register with MCI and WBMC.

5. Obtain a work permit/visa (if required).

Hi aspirant,

To do computer science and engineering or information technology one needs to have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in intermediate studies. Now since you have basic maths in class 10th then you cannot choose mathematics as a subject in class 12 and hence you won't be able to be a software engineer. However engineering is not the only way to become a software developer you can also do bachelors in computer application which does not required mathematics as a compulsory subject and proceed in the field of development application and websites.
