You may get into NIFTEM with your ranking.

I hope this information was useful to you.

Best wishes.

The admission to M.Tech. programs at NIFTEM are based on :
  • valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers)
  • personal interview (30 marks).
  • Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
  • The merit list will be displayed on the NIFTEM website.
So your admission depends upon how you do in the interview.

Following are the branches for MTech at NIFTEM:
  • M.Tech. in Food Technology and Management (FTM).
  • M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering and Management (FPEM).
  • M.Tech. in Food Plant Operations and Management (FPOM).
  • M.Tech. in Food Safety and Quality Management (FSQM).
  • M.Tech. in Food Supply Chain Management (FSCM).

Previous year cutoffs are not released by the institution. But you've chances of getting a branch here in branches which have a lower cutoff.

Hope this helps :)
Best of luck!
