The expected cut off for the to three colleges through CLAT is 140+. For top 5 it must be around 130+. All the NLUs are expected to be closed around 120.
Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello Sunanda,

Good to know that you posted your query here.

Regarding your query, yes you can pursue an LLM degree in the field of corporate law even after completing your master's in business law, as corporate law will include all the subjects that you have studied and also because the degree that you have is a MBL, and would require a proper Master's degree.

Hope this solved your query. If you want to know about anything else, keep posting here.

Hi Mehtaab,

Thanks for asking, all you have to do is just contact the officials of that college or NLU where you want admission. You will be admitted directly. Also, the fees structure is different from the rest of the candidates, it is a little bit high as compared to others.

Foreign candidates will be admitted directly on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination, overall academic record and command over the English language.

The candidate must have studied the English language as one of the compulsory subjects in 10+2 or equivalent Higher Secondary School Examination.

The Admissions Committee may organize an English language competency test if found necessary.

Preference will be given to the candidates from SAARC countries and other developing countries. They are exempted from taking the CLAT and the rule concerning age limit.

They will have to apply directly to the University in the prescribed format available on the NLU Website within the time period given by them.

The candidate will be provisionally admitted only on his/her having the required proficiency in the English language.

Good Luck!!

Hi Sandhya,

NLSIU, Bangalore is one of the prestigious institutions in India. After the completion of the degree what kind of expenditure you are talking about? I mean if these expenditures are related to your personal use, I cannot answer but if these expenditures are related to your internships and job placements then you do not need to spend too much of money after the completion of the degree as you will surely get the opportunities of placements in your 4th year or after 5year without spending any money.

Good Luck!

Hello Safalta , Admission in the B.A , L.L.B.(Hons.) Degree programme is purely on merit based .The main criteria to get in is to give and score in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT ) conducted by the CLAT committee constituted for Admission purpose.
