North-East Adventist University (NEAU) Ordinance was passed in March 2020 and NEAU is a state private university at West Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. Located on 90 acres, NEAU is recognised by the University Grants Commission of India. In total, the university has 18 courses broken down across six degrees, thus allowing students to explore their potential interests. Holding a faculty strength of 42 committed teachers, NEAU makes sure that it offers the best environment for learning among its students. It is a men and women education facility that admits male and female students with ambitions of achieving their educational advancements in the region of Northeastern India.

The university is particular about health care education offering 40 seats for B.Sc Nursing. The courses offered cut across Nursing, Physiotherapy, Sciences, Arts, Commerce and Business management falling under the broad brackets of professional skill development across the spectrum of career interest. other courses are BMLT, BA in Sociology, History, Education, MA in Education, English, History, and so on.
