North East Adventist University, West Jaintia Hills Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The University has classroom facilities for students. The classrooms are comfortable at NEAU. Designed in particular considering what is required with each course according to its subject matter and what the students need.

• The University library aims to provide exemplary library services to its members to promote educational excellence. It also aims to provide a significant number of books and other printed materials for the staff and the students to facilitate their studies and encourage lifelong learning through its reading materials and resources. In the area of physical facilities, the library offers a safe, comfortable, well-lighted, clean space, with suitable seating arrangements to ensure the effective use of reading materials.
• The Library provides information on various subject areas, we also have a newspaper and magazine section through which the teachers and students can get an insight into the current happenings.
• The library also has computers which can be used by the students and the staff. The library also has a Kyocera Xerox machine which is operated by the library staff and can be used by the students/staff for photocopying documents, question papers, reference books, and others.
• The Library also provides a free Wi-Fi service through which the students /staff can access online study materials.

The University has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The University has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students. ATM service is also available at the entrance of the University.

The NEAU cafeteria has a well-constructed and comfortable seating arrangement. With a seating capacity of over 500, the NEAU cafeteria serves a wholesome and hygienic vegetarian diet keeping in mind the nutritional needs of the students. We follow a regular food timing, thrice a day.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

There is a spacious parking facility for day scholars who commute to the university in their vehicles.  

Sports have risen in prominence over the years, primarily with cricket, football, and basketball, students are propelled to participate and form their teams for the sport that they wish to take up if it’s a sport that they don’t do. There are sports personnel with an undisputed reputation when it comes to the expertise of the game to guide, nurture, and train students and introduce them to the path of glory in the sport they choose.

The University has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The boarding facility in the university will have a capacity to accommodate 250 men.

The University has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The boarding facility in the university will have a capacity to accommodate 300 women.

The University has excellent IT Infrastructure facilities for the students.

The University has Wi-Fi facilities for the students and staff. The Library provides a free Wi-Fi service through which the students /staff can access online study materials.
