PRSU Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University has two boys hostels namely Gandhi Hostel and Azad Hostel. Students are also offered a mess facility in the hostels. PSRU, Raipur hostels are well equipped with all the basic facilities. Both the hostels are located within the university campus.

PSRU, Raipur has four hostels for girls, located inside the university campus. Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University hostel facilities are offered to its regular students. Only students from outside Raipur are eligible for admission in the hostel. In the case of the number of candidates exceeding the available seats then admission is given according to their percentage of marks.

The university has a health centre where a medical officer and a lady doctor are there to look after the patients. Students and employees of the university are offered medicines free of cost. 

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University has a gym for the use of students. The facility of the gym helps the students to keep their health and fitness in check. 

PRSU has a library that has all kinds of information resources such as textbooks, reference books, journals and others. There is a wide range of reading and learning material available in the library for the staff and students. 

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University has various laboratories to provide students with practical exposure. The university offers a departmental-based laboratory facility.

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University has a modern IT infrastructure for the benefit of students.

 PRSU has one cafeteria located within the campus. The canteen offers hygienic food items to students, staff and faculty at reasonable prices.

All the major events of the university take place in the auditorium which is available for use by both teachers and students. 

The university offers transport facilities to students, staff and faculty members.

The University has a good networking for the alumni association.

The university has a guest house having 13 AC rooms. In addition to this, the guest house has 10 non-AC rooms. The guest house is primarily meant for official guests of the Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University and participants of seminars/workshops/symposia /conferences and other educational programmes organised by the university/departments as well as those sponsored by the UGC.

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University offers banking facilities to students, faculty and staff. The university has an ATM on campus.
