The punjabi university is known for its studies as punjabi university is giving many skills and tons of knowledge to make the student stand at their own feet the teachers are highly qualified and helpful
The placement cell is not doing their work properly as they have given many students but nowdays there is no placement from the university side we have to take it from their own only 10-15 percent placed every year
Totally value for money it is government campus and is offering very minimal fees my fees is 25 thousand per semester and in my opinion it is totally value for money as there are more campus who are charging double with the same facilities
Campus life is good multiple events on the lineup we have very good network amoung students also enjoyed the best of it we don’t have freshers or farewell but yeah there are many opportunities to showcase our talent
Just work on the placement

placement opportunities is very less no support from the college in getting job they tend to ready but no support at the end of the session no placement is heard from any of the student nor the senior
the whole course fees of my mba is 1 lakh 60 thousand and in my opinion its is totally value for money as during the course the life lesson is learn is more than the price this degree is offering value is more than price
campus life is average as there is no such environment f having fun in college the environment is too good as compare to other college but it is not so exciting as student here are tend to study rather then having fun
The infrastructure of the university is very good as there is lot of place’s available for the students. Also there are lots of canteen for the students that serve really good food so if you are looking for a university with great infrastructure i surely recommend you this
Well i can say the academic of this university are okayish as some of the teachers are really really good and helpful but some of them are really very bad as they don’t have ant sense to How to talk with students
The placements in Punjabi university patiala is considered as average as there is no such great placements opportunities so if any student is dreaming to get a placement by studying in this university so i want to suggest you please set your expectations low
The fees for every course is very high but the infrastructure and facilities that this university provides are really great so yes in my opinion it is value for money but yes is you want a good Return on investment on your education then i believe it is not value for money
The campus life of Punjabi university is really very good i met a lot of people there who are actually very good and also there are many events organised by the university ehich make my campus life more great
Punjabi University almost all the necessary equipments. The infrastructure is quite compromised. Currently it is going through phase of renovation. So, we have to manage for facilities in the lecture halls. Infrastructure includes library, hostels (for boys and girls), sports ground (vollyball, box cricket, table tennis, badminton, etc.)
The professors punjabi University at this institution are known for their supportive, approachable demeanor, and dedication to guiding students tov success. They contribute to a great academic experience, preparing students effectively for career challenges, resulting in good overall academic results.
Good placements are given here. More options in fields. If we talk about marketing then you usually get place in banks or insurance companies for Relationship Manager post. Very rarely get placed in 2 or 3 companies which belongs to fmcg sector. The overall problem is the type of sector we target for placements. The students don't get much option marketing.
Yes value for money
Amazing university and good campus life

The college has a dedicated team that provides us with resume checks, group discussion preparation, case study preparation, Analytics preparation, amd interview preparation. Some of the top companies in the consulting sector comes to PU for placements.
Yes value for money
Campus life is amazing
Nothing else
The college infrastructure is very nice. The main building is very well structured. Every classrooms are well ventilated and the AC fans and lights are working properly. The college has a library as well. The working space is neat and clean.
Academics of the college is fantastic. I was studying the arts, and the quality of teaching was very nice like every professors were highly educated, and most of them are phD holders. yes definitely I think the study makes me value for money.
The placement quality is very nice like average package was 5 lakh per annum and the highest package was 10 lakh per annum. average is 70% of the students were placed. I think getting placement was tough like every student have to fight tough for the placement.
Definitely, I think the college is value for money. Per your cost was around 50,000. yes, I think my money is getting worth it because in return the colleges providing us a good placement against our fees. My money makes sense over here.
Campus life of the college was amazing. students were engaged in academics and non-academic activities. definitely the college is safe and the location is also nice. Yeah, sure the college is mature enough to handle all the emergencies.
the college infrastructure is good and it has a huge campus. it includes all the facilities like libraries, sports centre and hostel. the classrooms are clean the hostel is well maintained and the food is hygienic.
i am a student of BBA and pass out in 2023. the teachers are good and the curriculum is up to date . the teachers are very helpful. it includes all the recent development for the studies. the college is supportive .
the quality of placement is average. college has a placement committee which helps the student to make the process easy and pleasant for the students. the average placement offered is 6lakhs per annum and the college is supportive.
University has good campus and separate department for different courses. The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, well-maintained library, laboratories, medical facilities, etc. The classrooms are well-equipped projector classrooms. The university has one of the largest sports playgrounds
The teachers are knowledgeable and well-qualified as we have to spend more of our time in the laboratories so they have provided us well maintained and well-equipped laboratories for performing the experiments. The teachers are supportive, they guide us and fully support us in completing our research on time.
Placements in the college are not so good. Probably, 10-15 students were placed through on-campus interviews. Salaries offered range from Rs. 25000 to about 30,000. Pharmaceutical companies visit the campus for QC, QA and other purposes. Students with the aggregate of 60% or above are pplaced.
Campus life was good very enjoyable.
Many opportunities for grants and scholarships for backward castes. Not a very dynamic or festive campus life. It's a very simple, calm and studious environment. It is the perfect place for you if nature and studying under lush trees or reading in a silent library is what you seek. Fun things to do are visiting archeological sites, annual handicrafts fest and some small town cafes.
I have studied in Department of Statistics, Punjabi University Patiala. The infrastructure is quite good. All the required amenities are there for learning such as computer systems, wifi, required softwares, etc. The main thing which is required to become a Statistician is hands-on learning of the softwares which is well provided in the department. The professors are very good in their teaching. Also the care of cleanliness is well taken.
I was studying Statistics, since it is one of the greatest practical application of Mathematics. In the Department of Statistics, Punjabi University Patiala, tesching is quite resourceful, full of learning. The curriculum is also sufficient to be a Statistician and this course does makes you job-ready.
I'd say placements are not that good in my department. It might be good in other departments. During my batch i.e 2022, we weren't offered any kind of placements, we went through placement cell many a times but weren't heard much. As per my seniors, there used to be placements in my department before COVID but after that things drastically changed and now no one looks into this aspect seriously.
My course fee was around ₹25000 pa with a buffer of ₹5000. I don't remember the exact fees. But I must say it was quite affordable while being skillful. Thus it was worth the fees i have paid.
The campus is quite vast. You can roam around many places and there are many canteens, parks, boys and girls hostels for accomodation, a dispensary for any medical emergency and various kinds of playgrounds, auditorium to explore extra-curricular activities too.
No infrastructure is not good there is no wifi facility for students no equipments in classroom and lack of materials in laboratories The hostel facility is only for girls not for boys. It has poor infrastructure and food facilities
Talking about academics . It is good and faculty is knowledgeable and Know what they have to do at their respective places. They are friendly with us they are cooperative. They know how to polish a student
The placement scope of this college is poor. It is not upto the mark. They didn't even talk about placements even for some professional courses. They do lack in this sector. Hope condition will improve im future
The value for money is not that much as expected although fees is not that high its moderate so its difficult to say whether the fees is worth it or not. Both the sides are there at their places whether money is valued or not
Campus life is average as i would say. If you have friends then it's gonna be great obviously friends make campus life easy the most liked thing on campus in gurudwara sahib, a place where one can have peace in this rush world
Overall it is an average college with different kinds of courses and many more memories
Hy,
The expected cutoff for the LLM entrance test at Punjabi University, Patiala, varies each year based on various factors, including the number of applicants and their performance. For the 2023 LLM entrance exam, the cutoff was around 40-50 marks out of 100, but this can fluctuate significantly each year.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find specific details on the previous year's cutoffs or any previous question papers. It's recommended to contact the university directly or check their official website for any available resources regarding past papers and more precise cutoff details.
Hello Jessica,
It is usually not possible to apply for the B.Ed. examination form after the last date at most universities, including Punjabi University Patiala, without a late fee or specific exceptions like reopening of applications. However, universities sometimes provide an extended window with a late fee, or may reopen applications for special circumstances.
I recommend checking the official website of Punjabi University Patiala or contacting the university's admissions office directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on any possibilities of late application submission.
Hello Aspirant
In order to transfer your credits from one college to another, you need to make sure that the college (to which you are transferring) has the option to accept students from other colleges/universities. Secondly, see that you fulfill the criteria for the number of credits that you need to from your previous college because this is exactly what you transfer- your credits from your papers. Each college has the same credit system as prescribed by UGC, but just to be sure, double-check it.
To prepare for the transfer, many colleges simply don't have a test, they have an interview round and you are accepted. But if Punjab University is asking for a test, go through their website and look for their syllabus. Prepare for the test according to their syllabus, and talk to students of that university for guidance and book recommendations because it is professors who tell them about the books. Be prepared for an interview round as well.
ALL THE BEST!
