University College of engineering has excellent facilities for students. The classrooms are very clean and the furniture is excellent. Being a student of this college I can say that the staff is very cooperative and responsible. Hostel faculty is also good. The hostel has 8 floor building with WiFi. Food in mess is healthy and furniture in mess is neet and clean. The environment is very good.
Education structure is updated and the staff is cooperative. I am currently pursuing B.Tech (CSE) because this is the course I've desired. Teachers are good and classrooms are upgraded with smart boards. Labs and workshops are also there for practical work. All these things makes the study comfortable and easy tu understand for students.
Placement cell of our university is good. Many students have selected in Infosys, microsoft, google and many other companies. The highest salary package is around 20 lakh per annum. And the average salary package offered is around 10-12 lakh per annum for BTech CSE.
B.Tech course per year fees is near about 1 lakh. And I think this is reasonable. The fees structure is relevant as compared to other neighbouring universities. We can also study by taking education loan which makes our study easy without being burden on parents. And the scholarship program is also very helpful.
The best thing is the university life. University campus is too big and there are many things. Ground, workshops, canteen, library, reading halls and many other things are quite beautiful and helpful. As I mentioned the staff is ver cooperative. University's location is... Rajpura Road, District Patiala, Punjab. Yes the university can handle emergencies as it have it's own hospital and having safety equipments at every spot.
As a student of this University, I have enjoyed my university life. All things are beautiful and impressive. Fees structure is quite reasonable. Staff is cooperative and placements are also good. I recommend this University as per my experience.
Class rooms are not up to mark. It need to be renovated. Not such cool feeling by it's infrastructure. It's one of the top universities in India and governments aided but i not well maintained. Less facilities, no proper equipments in labs. Open grounds are good. Need to work on hostel hygiene.
I'm doing my B.ed under Punjabi university. Teacher are co-operative nd some where rude in nature too. I don't know the management is not working properly. Need some strict rules in the campus. Yeah it's my professional degree, I'll be a teacher after this degree.
Placements are not in my stream, but comparing with other streams there are just 10% placement in campus. Student's are running for the name AS Punjabi university has a big name but students are getting higher 6lakh package and average 2.5 lakh only. 10% placement are there in uni.
It's a government university. Charges for my course is near 2 lakh. Money is some where worth, but it's a PUNJABI Uni. So it have to work on facilities provided.
Just show off in students, No proper regularity or sincerity for the studies. Just her to chill, but yeah not everyone is same. Most of the students work hard nd teacher are supporting them too, that's a great thing.
Need some improvement.
The classrooms are ok but outdated. The infrastructure is not up to the point. In laboratories too, there is shortage of good equipments. Students cannot facilitate the necessary items required during experiment. The classrooms have air conditioners which hardly do any cooling or do not work . The library is one among the best places. You can get books of almost any genre there. Smart boards are present but some do not work. The old hostels are a mess and food is very bad.
I am pursuing bachelor's of pharmacy from this institution. Well, the quality of teaching is good. Most of the teachers have doctorates and are well knowledged in their subjects. The teachers are very helpful and kind. They are ready to help you in all ways. The curriculum is well updated and includes all the recent researchers. Also, the knowledge you get is surely helping in job profiles.
In this area, it do not has much. Placements opportunities are very poor. After Bachelors's degree, you don't get a placement at all. The placements are only given to the Masters degree students. There too, you do not get much with highest package of 7-8 lpa. The average salary package provided was of 2-3 lpa. There is not much to expect from the placement side.
The Bachelor of pharmacy has a average fees of Rs. 50,000 per annum. However, at admission you have to give Rs. 50,000 and for next each semester, Rs. 25,000 is given. If we see from teaching section, the money is worth but infrastructure, lab facilities, hostels are not worthy. So, overall it's like, we don't get our whole money worth.
The college campus is good. The teachers shares a good bond with students. Along with it, each department shares its own sports and other competitions. It ensures the participation of every student in it. Regular fest's are also organised. Students get much to learn from all these experiences.
Overall, you can get good experience by studying in this institution. The students can make the overall development. But, hostel life is a mess and there is not much to do about recreation. The hostel food is very bad and is not palatable. But, boys hostels are good and there is proper courts for playing and recreation.
Hy,
The expected cutoff for the LLM entrance test at Punjabi University, Patiala, varies each year based on various factors, including the number of applicants and their performance. For the 2023 LLM entrance exam, the cutoff was around 40-50 marks out of 100, but this can fluctuate significantly each year.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find specific details on the previous year's cutoffs or any previous question papers. It's recommended to contact the university directly or check their official website for any available resources regarding past papers and more precise cutoff details.
Hello Jessica,
It is usually not possible to apply for the B.Ed. examination form after the last date at most universities, including Punjabi University Patiala, without a late fee or specific exceptions like reopening of applications. However, universities sometimes provide an extended window with a late fee, or may reopen applications for special circumstances.
I recommend checking the official website of Punjabi University Patiala or contacting the university's admissions office directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on any possibilities of late application submission.
Hello Aspirant
In order to transfer your credits from one college to another, you need to make sure that the college (to which you are transferring) has the option to accept students from other colleges/universities. Secondly, see that you fulfill the criteria for the number of credits that you need to from your previous college because this is exactly what you transfer- your credits from your papers. Each college has the same credit system as prescribed by UGC, but just to be sure, double-check it.
To prepare for the transfer, many colleges simply don't have a test, they have an interview round and you are accepted. But if Punjab University is asking for a test, go through their website and look for their syllabus. Prepare for the test according to their syllabus, and talk to students of that university for guidance and book recommendations because it is professors who tell them about the books. Be prepared for an interview round as well.
ALL THE BEST!
