Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate Honors program offered by Quantum University, Roorkee.

BSc in Agriculture trains students in the modern scientific methods of conducting agrarian activity. Owing to the rich agricultural culture of India the importance of this course to Indian life can’t be overstated. It makes important contribution to GDP. Agriculture also is a major provider of employment. It goes without saying that agriculture constitutes a paramount factor in ensuring the economic development of the country.

In modern times great advances have been made in the field of science. They have impacted agriculture in a radical way. The modern study of agriculture involves how to employ the methods of science to the activity of traditional agriculture. The aim of BSC agriculture is to educate and train students in scientific methods to affect agricultural productivity in a sustainable way. The BSC would impart students the necessary skills to solve practical issues. The curriculum inculcates research activity to sustain developments.

Students who have a love for nature and enthusiasm for physical activity are best fitted for this course. The course offers a great avenue to see scientific theories being applied for the general good and in a way that directly affects the national economy.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology and have obtained at least 50% marks in total.

Admission Details

Admissions to any of the programs at Quantum is based on merit. As the first step, student needs to register with the college and deposit a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- along with the duly filled registration form. Registered students are then invited for admission to various programs on the basis of their merit.

College Infrastructure

the facilities at quantum university is great the classrooms , sports , library and Wi-Fi facilities are provided by college to the students . The living spaces are clean and hygienic inside the campus and the campus looks beautiful .

Yes all infrastructure ..wifi is also there and library is good..and hostel is overall good I guess and talking about hygiene it's good it's clean and well maintained ... overall everything is good.... food is nice

My college has all facilities , infrastructure and equipments ;laboratories , library , sports centres, hostels , classrooms , all the things are well maintained. Living spaces are clean and food is also hygienic.
