Ravenshaw University is a co-educational state university which is located in Cuttack, Odisha . The institute was founded in the year 1868 , and further, it became a university the year 2006 . The university is approved by UGC and NAAC which adds up to the value of the university in terms of education and quality.

There are 27 streams or departments of subjects like language, earth science, arts, commerce, computer science, IT and software, mathematical science , etc. in which 20 courses have post-graduation programs, 14 research departments, and 27 undergraduate courses and programs. The university has a variety of courses for the development of student mind which provides wide options to choose from.

Admissions for undergraduates, graduates and doctoral or research programs take place with the help of an entrance examination held by the university. Minimum eligibility for students who want to do graduation is 10+2 from a recognized board and for post-graduation, a student must have done graduation from a recognized university.
