Being a premium institute it had all the facilities. It was equipped with right amount of infrastructure needed to run a college efficiently. The classrooms were fully ventilated and spacious.I had the best of my experience.
It had a very flexible curriculum designed for the holistic development of students. The above statement is strictly restricted to the course I was enrolled in.The practicals was very helpful for the real ground knowledge of agriculture.
The placements of my college has a lot more room for improvement .Talking about my course 30% were placed and rest were placed on their own.I believe placements is very important part of course and needs a lot of improvement.
It has well-equipped labs but classroom space needs to be modified more. Lab has all the necessary equipments required for practical classes. Classes provided for theory classes need to more spacious.
I am studying Horticulture. Few teaches teach great. More update is required. Academics is the base but in this college despite having lots of classes base is not provided well. Authorities do not listen.
As far u have heard it has 10 percent placement which is low. But student are placed in good corporate positions. Placement needs to be more to have a profitable college life in this era of cut-throat competition.
Fees is higher than facility provided. Fee is too much if you compare it with the academics and infrastructure facilities. You might be kept in the dark regarding degrees provided here. Be self assured then go for it.
Campus is cool student can enjoy good campus life. Campus is well maintained and architect. Campus is worth visiting and enjoying. It is spacious with apt greenery. You can do activities whichever you like.
If you are an Agri student you should go else you need to think twice.
The college provides all the facilities to their students, this is well known college having a great infrastructure and equipments. The professors are great at their subjects. The hostels are very spacious with very hygienic food and clean rooms.
The teachers are very knowledgeable, they provide all the stuff to their students. The faculty is experienced. The practical knowledge which is given by the professors to their students makes them job ready.
The placements are according to the course in which student has enrolled. The highest salary package offered was 10 lakh P.A. in the agricultural field. The avg. Salary offered is 6 lakh P.A., the college manages all the things at high level with all the ease.
My course costs 1,20000 per year. It depends upon how much I'll earn by the job. It would be worth if I'll get my job according to my expectations and a handsome salary too, then only it would be worth.
The campus life at SHUATS is kinda good, I would say it's the best life at the campus. The activities have a very big list, many kinds of sports, quizzes etc held there. The teachers were always enrolled in the activities with students, with safe location (only in the campus).
The college provides all the stuff and a great campus life at which students can live with joy. The exams conducted have quality questions and the practical knowledge is gives to their students which helps them to maintain their goal.
The laboratories of the college are well-equipped with all the required types of equipment, the library is the finest place to spend time at, with a vivid collection of books and study materials. The hostel rooms are big enough to prevent the feeling of suffocation with sanitation concern up to the mark and the food of the mess is just satisfactory, turning us nostalgic with every bite, with the imagination of mom's hand-cooked food.
The academics is very good the very well-crafted curriculum. The practicals are well performed by the highly qualified professionals with fully-updated syllabus. But there are lack in extra curricular activities which makes the life a bit tedious and boring.
The placement cell functions very actively, with the process of linking the college with some of the reputed companies of the country. I am a FN (Foreign National), so I returned back to my home country - Nepal and got to work at the country's no.1 dairy brand (DDC) with the annual package NRs. 8 lakhs. The reason behind getting an opportunity to work at top-notch company is the academics of the college.
I got admitted to my college through an Indian Embassy Scholarship Scheme name ICCR that allows me to full-academic fee waiver with stipend, so I cannot comment regarding the value-for-money as this is blessing to study with full scholarship. But based on my peers opinion, the college do offer value for money with the annual fee of IRs. 5 lakhs including the hostel and mess facilities.
The campus life was really amazing, that has created many moments in the gallery of memories. The teachers are very supportive providing help at any moment, the students are very co-operative and are of friendly nature where as the staffs are very generous. The location is safe away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
