MCA or Master of Computer Applications is a 3-year postgraduate degree course that deals in various aspects of computer applications, from software, networking and hardware studies. The course provides an in depth and extensive knowledge about computer applications, and perfect for students who wants to enter the challenging field of Computers & IT.
The main objective of this course is to impart knowledge inclined towards Application Development and thus it has more emphasis on latest programming languages and tools such as programming in C, JAVA, Python, SQL, etc. It also includes various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics etc.
Eligibility Criteria
- Prospective students should have passed Bachelors or equivalent examination from a recognized university with any field of computer science.
- Minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course.
