IIITM Gwalior Admission Process

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior admissions are offered to courses including B.Tech, B.Tech+M.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. For IIITM Gwalior B.Tech admissions, students have to appear for JEE Main examination.

For IIITM Gwalior M.Tech admissions GATE examination is considered and for the MBA admissions CAT examination is considered. While for IIITM Gwalior Ph.D admissions, the IIITM Gwalior conducts an aptitude test followed by a counselling session.

IIITM Gwalior Registrations 2025

Course	IIITM Gwalior Application Process
B.Tech	Register for JEE Main examination and pay the examination fees of Rs 1,000 (Rs 900 for Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL) and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PwD). Qualify the JEE Main examination and register for JoSAA counselling.
IPG
M.Tech	Apply for GATE examination and pay the application fees Rs 1,800 (Rs 900 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). After qualifying GATE examination, apply for CCMT counselling. Candidates must select IIITM Gwalior M.Tech in the CCMT choice filling.
MBA	Candidates must register for the CAT examination and pay the CAT application fees of Rs 2,500 (Rs 1,250 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Candidates must apply through the application form released on the official website of IIITM Gwalior. Selected candidates will be called for GD and Interview round.
Ph.D	Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for IIITM Gwalior Ph.D admissions. Apply for admissions through the official website of the institute. Selected candidates will be called for an interview process.

IIITM Gwalior UG Admission Process 2025

Candidates seeking IIITM Gwalior B.Tech admissions must apply by filling the online application form.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to appear for the JEE Main 2025 and secure valid marks.
After securing valid marks in JEE Main, candidates need to apply through JoSAA counselling.
During the counselling, candidates need to fill college choices and select IIITM Gwalior as the first choice.

The CCMT counselling seat allotment round 2 result for admission to M.Tech programmes has been released by the NIT Surat on June 24, 2024. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to use their GATE registration id and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

IIITM Gwalior Ph.D Admissions 2025

The Ph.D course of IIITM is offered in 3 specialisations in information technology, applied sciences and management and these courses are offered for a duration of 6 years.

Academics

Academics wise this college is good. The curriculum has been updated in 2023. I chose this college because it directly dives into the core subjects. We do not waste a year learning excess chemistry/biology/physics which is not applied in computer science or information technology. Moreover all the professors have a phD and have several students under them doing research and other projects. It is a very enriching experience outside the classroom walls.

The college is having great environment.

The college is having great teacher. All faculty members are supportive to students. Course curriculum is relevant and we are regularly asked for reviews. The passing is easy. We are given cgo which is based on comparative marking. Competition is although high due to good students. They are always help to grades to top places.
