Sardar Patel University (SPU), Balaghat Facilities

Sardar Patel University Balaghat provides certain facilities to the students and faculty members of the university including a library, transportation, hostels, a health centre, and counselling services. The library is well equipped with books and study materials related to medical and health sciences providing all necessary information to the students of the institute in their academics. The library has a good collection of books and journals including both National and International. The library also has a reading room for students and other visitors to read books. Students and faculty members of Sardar Patel University, Balaghat are also provided with transportation facilities. SPU Balaghat facilities provides separate hostels to boys and girls. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students. There is a health centre provided inside the campus which has well trained medical doctors to provide medical treatment to students and staff.

Library
The Central library spreads over to ground with an area of 1250 sq.m. It is centrally air-conditioned, well-protected with fire alarm, Flap Barrier and CCTV surveillance. It has specialized collections of Books, Journals & other resources in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology and Commerce & Management, Agricultural Science, Mathematics & Computer Applications, literature ranging from printed books, e-books, back volumes, and CDs\DVDs. The Central Library subscribes to national and international journals in print and e-Journals. The Digital library facility is also available in Central Library. Central Library is using LIBSYS software for Library automation.
Cafeteria
The university has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium
The university has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Laboratories
The university has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
I.T Infrastructure
The university has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Transport Facility
Students and faculty members of Sardar Patel University are also provided with transportation facilities. Students and other members of the institute who want to avail the transport facilities must board buses on time as per the time schedule of different routes. Bus facilities are also provided by the Institute for industrial visits and social service activities.
Sports
The university has sports facilities for all students.

About 80 acres of area giving numerous scholarly and framework installations comprising an archive, ride, housing, fitness hub.

It has 12 establishments like the School of Engrg. and Tech., School of Pharma Sci., Institute of Pharm Sci, School of Agri Sci., Technology and Research, and many more.

Kerala PSC approves the papers from UGC-authorized organizations hence a certificate from this college will be good.
