Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya (SNPV) has been set up in 2020 and it is a state university in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The university holds the recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Though it is a comparatively a small institute with 49 faculties providing 369 courses in 20 different degree programmes within varying fields of specialisation such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. These full-time programmes offered in the university serves the student population in all the aspects of their academic needs hence, creating an environment that will be able to support students with the different interests. 

Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya has excellent facilities necessary for students’ learning process and their extra activities. SNPV has well furnished classroom to encourage learning environment. S.N.P.V has well furnished class rooms to encourage the Learning atmosphere. The library of the university acts as an information centre and stocks a vast amount of information that a student may require for his or her course work. In addition, there is an auditorium facility for different occasions and occasions such as seminars, cultural activities among others in order to improve on the lifestyle of the campus. 

SNPV provides for a wide deformation of academic programmes at different levels of learning. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies in a wide range of fields. In total, there are 369 courses available, with full time, part time, and regular programmes to accommodate students requiring one or the other. The commitment of the university to academic endeavour is reflected in the diverse and competitive courses in which the university offers students B.Sc, B.Com, BA, MA, M.Sc, and Ph.D. among others. 

Admission in Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya is possible for each and every candidate based purely on merit. Concerning most programmes, admission is given depending on the result of the appropriate examination/ test of the candidate. Certain courses may even involve written entrance tests or other methods or may involve selection criteria based on state government or University norms. The university enrols students who have passed their 10+2 education for the undergraduate programmes and the postgraduate programmes enrol students with an appropriate undergraduate degree.
