Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya (SNPV) has been set up in 2020 and it is a state university in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The university holds the recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Though it is a comparatively a small institute with 49 faculties providing 369 courses in 20 different degree programmes within varying fields of specialisation such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Education and Law. These full-time programmes offered in the university serves the student population in all the aspects of their academic needs hence, creating an environment that will be able to support students with the different interests.

Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya has excellent facilities necessary for students’ learning process and their extra activities. Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya (SNPV) as a state university located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. It has a wide selection of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in multiple specializations. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc: SNPV offers B.Sc programs in various specializations, including Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Computer Science, and more. Admission is on the basis of merit cum 10+2 marks in relevant subjects, with a total intake of B.Sc programs at 490 seats.

B.Com: B.Com programs are offered by the university with different specializations. Admission to the B.Com programs will be on a merit basis according to the marks obtained in the 10+2 examinations. Total intake for B.Com programs is 150 seats.

BA: BA programs are offered in many subjects by SNPV. Admission is based on the merit of 10+2 marks. The total intake for BA programs is 350.

MA: The university offers MA programs in various disciplines such as Hindi, English, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, and many others. Admission is based on qualifier marks obtained in the relevant bachelor's degree. Usually, each of the MA programs includes a seat capacity of 40-70.

M.Sc: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, and Computer science form the subjects in which SNPV has opened M.Sc programs. The admission for these programs is based on merit in UBAT relevant bachelor degree marks. Most of the M.Sc programs contain a seat intake of 30-50.

M.Com: M.Com courses also provide marks obtained in B.Com degree or equivalent degree for accessibility to the admission program. Intake for M.Com programs is typically around 60 seats.

Ph.D: SNPV has within its ambit research programs in different fields. Admission is based on the performance of the candidate in a written test and/or interview. A candidate who possesses a master's degree in the related field is eligible to apply.
