BA English Hons at Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok Offline Course

This is a four-year full-time course in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. and course offered by Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok.

Objectives-

• To give students a multidisciplinary academic foundation with sound knowledge of English, Political Science, Sociology and History.
• Skills acquired during the course of the degree (such as critical thinking, clarity of expression in written and oral forms, self-management and planning, independent research, organization of time, cooperation with others, attention to detail, and ability to grasp the larger picture) will be invaluable regardless of one’s chosen career path.
• To offer students wide knowledge in the humanities and Social Sciences that is fairly sufficient to expose them to numerous job opportunities.

The Department offers the scholarship to the eligible students in the following manner:  

• 10% Concession on Tuition fees to the students having a percentage of 50% to below 60% in the qualifying examination.
• 20% Concession on Tuition fees to the students having a percentage of 60% to below 75% in the qualifying examination.
• 30% Concession on Tuition fees to the students having a percentage of 75% and above in the qualifying examination.
