Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka also known as SDUAHER Tamaka was established in the year 1986. Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research offers courses in the field of medical and allied sciences. SDUAHER Tamaka was approved by UGC and NMC.

The Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research offers courses at UG, PG and Doctoral courses. SDUAHER Tamaka admissions are done through entrance tests and the NEET UG and NEET PG entrance examinations are accepted by the institute along with its own entrance test for SDUAHER doctoral admissions. According to the data, over 220 students were placed in previous years.
