Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

SDUAHER Tamaka infrastructure has boys hostels with well-furnished rooms,  one kitchen inside the hostels, a dining hall, and more. There are a total of 311 rooms in all of the men's hostels with the capacity of holding 715 accommodations. 

The girls hostel gets facilities like well-furnished rooms, in hostel mess, a dining hall, and many more. SDUAHER infrastructure provides girls hostels with 336 rooms in total with 31 rooms reserved for NRI students; over 800 students can stay inside the hostels subsequently. 

The library at the SDUAHER  campus is fully stocked with central air conditioning and provides Wi-Fi facilities to access and look through the resources. The library is built over an area of 3,600 square metres. It provides books, journals and CDs in the disciplines of Health Science, Allied Health and Basic Sciences. Apart from that, the library also has a fully established digital library which has over 40 computers, printers, scanners and SPSS software with 1 GBPS internet bandwidth. 

The university has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

SDUAHER college canteens were recently built and they are spacious, clean and hygienic. All the students, faculty members and staff use the canteen facilities since it provides high-quality food which is nutritious and delicious at a reasonable and affordable price. The canteen provides a wide range of cuisine which suits most of the students and feels refreshing.

The university has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

SDUAHER facilities in sports and fitness centres were brought to existence in 1995 with the sports committee and it has been functioning and active ever since while providing various sports facilities and organising sport events. The sports and fitness centre offers a volleyball court, two basketball courts, and a throwball court. It also has outdoor arenas like football ground and athletic ground. The indoor games provided by the department include badminton courts, two table tennis courts, and multi gym facilities. 

SDUAHER Tamaka has an in-campus bank facility that is available to all its students, faculty members and staff for their banking and transaction needs and is open on all working days. Apart from the banking facilities, it also has ATMs on campus which are available to students, faculty members and staff 24x7 in need of urgent cash.
