As per the official, 27% of the seats are reserved for candidates from OBCs belonging to the non-creamy layer as notified by the National Commission for Backward Classes.

Officially there is no any information about it, You might be considered as General category if your OBC certificate get rejected. But I would suggest you to contact the official to get the exact detail.

sorry to say this year you can not apply. the eligibility criteria is Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations) by Monday, June 8, 2020, are also eligible to apply.

or Those candidates who are in final year, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by September 30, 2020.

TISS has an entrance examination for admission to its MBA Programme and it is called TISSNET MBA. And the score obtained through TISSNET is only considered. As per the eligibility criteria of TISSNET, Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidates studying in three and four year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects of semester 1 to semester 4 and semester 1 to semester 6 respectively at the time of applying for TISSNET 2018. The eligibility criteria will vary from programme to programme. For instance, the Masters in Organisational Development, Change and Leadership will require you to have gained 24 months work experience prior to the commencement of the programme. Hi, Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts TISSNET (National Eligibility Test) to grant admission to students in 55 postgraduate courses offered at TISS Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai (Banyan), Guwahati and Tuljapur. TISSNET 2020 will tentatively be held on January 12 (Sunday) in CBT mode. 

Tata Institute of Social Science specifies TISSNET Eligibility Criteria for candidates mentioned below:

• A Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for TISSNET.
• Candidates studying in final year of their graduation but have not passed in all their previous years’ papers are not eligible to apply for any of the master’s courses offered by TISS.
• There is no age-limit criteria nor restriction on the number of attempts.
• Candidates in the final year of 3 years graduation and have not cleared in all the courses (main, major or substitute) of 1st and 2nd year arenot eligible to apply for TISSNET.
• Candidates in the final year of 4 years graduation and have not cleared in all the courses (main, major or substitute) of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year is not eligible to apply for TISSNET.
• Candidates with 10+2+2+1 bridge course pattern or any other pattern with 15 years of formal education from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.
• Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by June 5, 2020, are eligible to apply to all TISS Courses.
• If any information provided in the application form is identified as incorrect or misleading, it will result in cancellation of the candidature.
• If a candidate has failed in the final year exam of their Bachelor’s Degree, he/ she will are not allowed to take part in the entrance exam for admission in programs offered by TISS.
• Candidates who are provided admissions provisionally but he/ she fails in the final year will not be allowed to continue the program.
• For  applying to HRM courses candidates can have Bachelors degree from any discipline.

A) schedule caste(SC): 15% of the total seats

B) schedule tribe(St): 7.5% of the total seats

C) other backward classes(OBC): 27% of the total seats

In case the candidates are not eligible, then the seats can be exchanged between st and sc.
