24 MonthsMaster of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology is two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate program in science stream offered by Tezpur University, Tezpur.
Note: (12 seats through TUEE, 26 seats through “All India Combined Entrance Test” conducted by DBT)
A candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. program (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honors or aggregate. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.
Candidates in this Programme may seek admission either based on the performance in the University entrance examination or through the All India Combined Entrance Test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, under the sponsorship of the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India (eligibility as decided by DBT, Govt. of India). For NE reserved seat, PRC will be required.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, ICTS labs, smart classrooms, and the central library are available. The quality of the food is average. There are swimming pools, a basketball court, a badminton court, and volleyball courts for both girls and boys. A gymnasium is available.
